Quote:Henne for a 3rd. Let's do it. (Caldwell would be God to pull that off)

A 3rd, lol. Maybe something that rhymes with 3rd.
Blake mentions Henne's influence (on and off the field) every time he's asked about the impact of other QBs on his development.  If he can help Blake continue to make strides then his $4M salary is chump change in the big scheme of things.

Furd?
I know Henne is going to be the back up QB to Blake this season and yes, it is possible the Jags could do worse then Henne as a back up, believe it or not.

It's just that most of us in here are just tired of watching Henne, especially those times he doesn't look anything like a capable NFL QB, which unfortunately is most of the time when he is on the field.

There aren't 32 capable NFL quarterbacks in the league. There are teams starting guys like Ryan Fitzpatrick, Tyrod Taylor, Brian Hoyer and Josh McCown.

something that rhymes with 3rd is about the only thing you would get for Henne

I'd trade Henne for a bird.
I really was scratching my head when the Jaguars resigned him.  I mean at times he looks okay, and stats wise but he plays way too safe (which is so frustrating) & he is not able to handle pressure which is bad with the Jaguars Oline for the last few years.

While that is true, there must be a more capable back up QB for the Jags then Chad Henne, there just has to be, has to.

It's just up to the Jags to find that more capable back up instead of settling for what they know they are getting from Chad Henne.

I really don't like thinking that us Jags fans are just one play away from seeing Chad Henne as the Jags QB, but it is the truth and the scary truth at that.

Another truth is that while Chad Henne has been here he has been less then a serviceable QB, whether as starter or back up.
Man.  Talk about a "Twisted set o knickers" in this thread.

There are other areas that deserve concern a lot more than the backup QB.

Or is all the anger caused by ED brought on due to lack of circulation?

HeadSlap

We're still worried about a backup quarterback?

Good grief.

It's better than being worried about a starting quarterback. Wink When the biggest topic of debate on this board becomes our third string QB then we've made it as a team.

I really don't get it. I guess the good news is people are not complaining about the starting QB.

Aaron Rodgers.
we could sign todd bouman

That joke was funny a few years ago.
No matter how good of a backup he is, the stench of Chad Henne still haunts this franchise. His days as a starter for this team have left a scar on the city that will never fade. Cutting him would be the mederma that scar badly needs.

Some of you guys need help

Everything I said is scientific fact. If my city issued garbage can didn't have a broken wheel, Chad Henne would fit perfectly in there on garbage day.
