Quote:I'd rather keep Grant.

I know people say DRob can return kicks but I'd rather keep him fresh for offense if at all possible.
In addition to having the highest run average, Corey Grant has the highest kick off return (despite a call that took one back & didnt count towards his stats)

He had 5 runs for 144 yards an average of 28.8 yards, (highest yards as well).

I'll be very unhappy if they don't give grant several touches in the game.

he's too good
Not to mention the fact that Corey Grant finished 7th place (2nd in HBs) in catching with 5 rec for 49 yards, 9.8 yards average

I mean he is a rookie so he'll have a learning curve as all rookies do.  What I mean is there will be times when he wont look good, but the guy is such a burner to not give him a couple of carries a game would be a mistake in my opinion.

I agree..I'd like to see 5 touches on offense and all kick offs
Like stated previously, he could easily be our 3rd best back. He seems to have solid vision and isn't all speed. Hopefully he can be developed properly.
his lack of hip flexibility is his main problem. He doesn't have the twerk (?) and cutting ability necessary for a dedicated running back. He can definitely be useful if we can get him in space though. I think he may surprise the league on kick offs this year.

I would love to see him line up as a WR and go deep with Bortles just throwing it 50 yards and Grant reading a paper as he waits for it to arrive... okay i might need some sleep...

I'm curious to see how he will be used. Does he get a few opportunities each game, or does he sit at the bottom of the depth chart and wait until somebody gets hurt? Just out of curiosity...when was the last time any jaguars back took one to the house from our own say 30 yardline? I think Grant is capable of leaving some defensive secondary personnel in the dust.
Look at Darren Sproles pretty sure that's how Grant will be used.

If he only had the wiggle that Darren has.

He did go undrafted so obviously he's still a very raw project. It's gonna b fun to watch him develop.
I am shocked that Corey Granted wasnt drafted after seeing how much potential this kid has in the NFL.

Then again Allen Hurns went undrafted too, and he had a good start to his season last year (then he struggled with injuries & being a rookie) which I am sure Grant will struggle as most rookies do at times.
