I doubt it. The only players that can do that are Romo, Cutler and maybe Glennon.

But let's pretend like none of this happened.

Hackett is trash but I can see that theyre trying to force continuity. Will see if these guys (Wash, Hackett) can keep their Jobs.

Continuity makes since if they think they can fix bortles

As the whole thing has gone down I have swayed back and forth. If push came to shove and I had the final say I'd probably have brought in Mike Smith and an entirely new coaching staff.
What I do like is the way Coughlin has presented how this is going to work. The assistant hires have been top of the range and it seems highly respected coach's want in on it.
So yeah my faith is all in on Coughlin, it will either be glorious and work or a true jaguar style disaster where it all goes up in flames in the next year or two.

Wait, I thought we had the 6th ranked defense
IF we had the 6th ranked defense and only won 1 game in the final 7 with those great stats you cited .... then what is the problem?
Something is wrong ..... we just can't sit here and look at stats
HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM .... and beating you is one of them.

That's the major problem I have with it. Hackett is going to put his butt on the line relying on a QB he couldn't help as the QB coach to begin with. It's horse manure and I ain't buying it. But Hopefully they cut bait pronto if and when it fails.

Exactly, he couldnt fix Bortles as QB coach.

Thoughts on the competitor? Another washed up traveling QB? A high draft pick?
I don't understand your comment ---- give me a solution that will result in wins immediately --- name his competitor and what we need to do to get him

Well, because it came down to either firing Gus or firing Bortles and they just weren't ready to fire Bortles yet, so it had to be Gus.

Hard to do when you're hamstrung by the OC. Amazing Bortles looked night and day better with Olson out of the picture huh?

So you liked what Hackett was able to bring to the table in his 2 years as QB coach or are you stating Hacket can't do debits and credits but he can reconcile financial statements.
Nevertheless, your point above is well taken. I just don't see how the same infrastructure is going to turn this around. We're either lazy, afraid, or cheap .... or all of the above.

Haha, all those mechanics were fixed as soon as Olsen was fired.
