The angle of the still picture posted doesn't do it justice, and does allow you to think he was stepped on. Live video proves otherwise

After college I put it on (weight) and started back in January and have lost a bunch so far. about 30-40 more to go.

Your live video completely misses the moment the Mexican defender planted his foot. The angle of the still picture is perfect. You can clearly see Robben's foot and Marquez's foot with nowhere near enough space between the two for Robben's foot not to be stepped on.

Either way, NED wins in extra time.... easily

BTW, there's a nice little divide going on in the news.

The angle is horrid on the still picture, you can't be serious.

 

Robben represents the best and worst in the sport. Great player, high energy, high skill. But one of the worst floppers in the game.

Herrera was being a cry baby B after the game saying this World Cup was anti-Mexico.  HAAAAA.  They didn't even have a tough group to get through.  Cameroon and Croatia?  OOOHHH, that cards were really stacked against you.  CRY ME A RIVER.

He should just be thankful he got in. If not for the last Hex game and the USMNT pulling out a win (I think against Panama in Panama) in the final seconds while playing many back ups for a 3-2 win, they aren't even in.

Yes,, Mexico was extremely fortunate to qualify for the WC. It did depend on the USMNT vs Panama. Mexico had been horrible in 2013, but played strong in WC. They defeated Croatia and Cameroon, drew vs Brazil, led vs NED until almost the 90th min. They did win Gold Medal last Olympics (2012?) vs Brazil in the final.

Mexico was no pushover to be defeated "easily".

Croatia and Cameroon aren't good teams, they played with their back against the goal for most of the match against Brazil and the Netherlands dominated the last 30 minutes of the game. And the Olympics only features the under 23 squads so no nation can field their best team in the Olympics.

I am serious. I have yet to a still or a video that clearly shows Marquez planting his foot without hitting Robben in the process.

Unless you can magically create depth perception out of a 2D image, that picture doesn't proof anything.
