Let it go ...

ME?  have you seen my 3 posts today on this thread

1) Thanks for the Lebron update

2) Stated the fact that 45 pages on the world cup was a good thing

3) Johnny Cochran-esque comparison.
Quote:Is it not a big deal if they run out of bounds? It seems like they go across the white boundary line all the time.

Soccer fans don't even know.
Quote:Tough loss for the Swiss.  Everyone I talk to at work and the gym hate Argentina.

The prevailing feeling from when I was up in DC was that Argentinians have a egotistical attitude.   We were neighbors (in a condo complex) with an Argentinian couple and they were extremely nice.  very humble.

It might have something to do with the fact they bribed their way to their first WC victory and cheated their way to the second.

When they are trying to keep the ball in play it is okay. If they go out to gain an advantage, like a wide receiver or on a punt/kickoff, then it is a yellow card. I have never seen that happen though.

I don't think that's true. I have never seen or heard any rule like that.
Quote:This is the down time all my cars are done just waiting on people to pick them up, so I'll sit here watch the game and wait for people to drag in before 6.

You know how I said I have a tv at work I can watch now?  That only helps when I'm not in a meeting without a tv in the room.

Missed the whole first half!

One of seven cautionable offences:

"Deliberately leaving the field of play without the referee's permission."

I don't think what they mean similar to a receiver leaving the field on a kickoff or punt. It's more to prevent a defender from stepping out of bounds in order to put an opposing player in an offside position.

Yeah, that's why I said it was like, didn't say it was the same.
Belgium is really putting the pressure on now.

My god, our back line is getting annihilated.

All except Howard.

The only time this would be administered is if a player jumps the advertising boards around the perimeter.
Even though it wouldn't have counted due to a horrible offsides call, HOW THE HELL DO YOU MISS THAT?!
Tim Howard: "Ochoa who?"
