LOL Break up with that woman if she is too annoying to live with.

I'm waiting for the presser video to be posted (or a transcript) in order to be certain, but it seemed like the reporter was axing if Dave may be OK hiring someone outside of his "circle." Someone he didn't know personally or professionally or hadn't been keenly aware of prior to the search.
While it seems clear that the Bradley hiring was somewhat of a group decision, Caldwell did not just come out and say "Gus was not my guy." Not at all.

The video is on NFL.com and he was asked if he would hire someone he wasn`t comfortable with and said yeah I did that with Gus

I didn't come away with that as the feeling that he "wasn't comfortable" with Dave.
The context was whether or not he had a prior relationship with him, whether he knew him and/or had worked with him prior.
I believe that is what Dave was referring to in response to being asked if he would hire someone he had no ties with - which was the context of his response.
It was certainly not "comfort" as in I did/did not want him.
He said he didn't know about him prior to the interview, and Gus nailed the interview - and that was the basis for the hire. Not prior ties.
