Quote:The same Brandin Cooks that will be long gone by 39?
Thats not a guarantee this is a deep draft at most positions and with a lot of good WRs he could drop to the 2nd

That 40 time will have nothing to do with him going top 5

Agreed. He did about what was expected from him.

Considering he lacks elite height/weight measurables it certainly doesn't hurt.

His deal is similar to Manziel. You draft him for his ability, not hismeasurable.
Quote:Yep. Manziel and Shaw have the same straight line speed, but Manziel's agility and lateral movements are way better than Shaw and every other QB.
Have they already done the three cone drill and short shuttle?

Him and OBJ are fighting for #3 WR right now. All 4 of them should be top 25 picks...could be looking at 6 or 7 1st round WRs this year even.
Quote:Ok same deal. If Manning was fifteen pounds lighter, would he be any worse of a QB? Of course not.
Huh? What exactly is your argument? I think I know but I don't want to misrepresent it.
Landry made up an injury because he is so slow lol jk
Marquse Lee will be the best WR in the draft

Yea...year after year, people get all excited over the combine and completely over value it's significance.
It's about the tape.

My argument is that size doesn't matter. Peyton Manning would be a future hall of fame QB if he was six feet tall and 200 pounds. What gives you success in the NFL is talent and work ethic. If you draft a guy who has each of those he will be a star,

For wide receivers, it is very important. Maybe not a deal breaker, but definitely not overrated.

You look like a Johnny Football fan.

I've seen plenty of rankings with Cooks as the 7th or 8th best WR in the draft, its pretty subjective and its up to what these teams want, him falling to 39 is not impossible

If he is not one of the top five wide receivers, why would #39 be a fall instead of a reach?

I'm a fan of talented football players. If he's talented then I'm a fan. I personally like Teddy and possibly Carr more.

Still prefer we go after one of the OG prospects in Gabe Jackson/Filo/Martin or any position then a WR @39.

4.35 on 2nd run...dude is going to be a steal.
