Why does anybody think just because a quarterback does not want to throw at the combine, he is scared to throw a football? Lots of players don't participate in position drills but that is not because a player has something to hide.

Well I can't back off what I said about Manziel ealier this year.

 

I said I wouldn't be suprise if Manziel's 40 time is 4.45 - 4.49 

 

I am expecting 4.49 - 4.52

Then stay away from Bridgewater too. I know its common, but its still a concern. None of the QBs know the receivers there. Did Andrew Luck have problems throwing at the combine? No, cause he knows how to throw a football anywhere anytime.

To me thats exactly what it means. Unless they are injured, there is no reason to not participate other than to hide something.

Andrew Luck didn't throw at the combine. 

Top rated QB's going to the combine that refuse to throw, red flags, ie Gabbert.  Stay away from Manziel and Bridgewater.  Sissys.

Well I hope he does run the 40.  But I read an article insinuating he wouldn't be participating in any of the drills.  But not 100% sure.  Manziel mentioned he could do windmill dunks and had Bridgewater as a witness, so he's got to be a pretty explosive athlete.

Blaine Gabbert looked great during his private workout at Missouri. If a player can do that, he is not hiding anything by skipping the quarterback drills ast the combine.

What is a windmill dunk? And where in the world did you read he won't do any drills?

I'm an expert at this as I used to do it all the time (on 8 foot rims). First of all were talking about basketball. A windmill is a type of dunk. To do a windmill you start off your jump with usually two hands on the ball wit your arms completely extended towards the basket. The general idea is you have to rotate your arms 360 degrees while in the air before the dunk, similar to a windmill. For someone as short as Manziel to pull this off, he'd have to have a ridiculously high vertical leap.

Also in a controlled environment like IMG its a lot easier to correct those things along the way has he gets bigger
