Matthews confirms he is the best college football player in the country.
It was good to see Taylor Lewan in such elite form. Had he come out last year, can you imagine offensive tackles being taken with four of the first five picks? Lewan stayed in school and some scouts even dropped him out of the first round.
It's very possible that three of the top five this year will again be offensive tackles.
Jake or Taylor will hopefully be our first round selection!
Why do you keep saying that? You must be hiding in a cave to not know about this guy named Jadeveon Clowney.
Also, why are you still unable to understand
there is no reason to take an offensive tackle at #3?
Quote:Bridgewater: I have met with the Jaguars. It was a great meeting. Lot of energy in that room. Owner and GM were in there.

Did you see Mr. Khan watching the offensive linemen today? Man, was he excited!

Jake or Taylor will hopefully be our first round selection staying put at number three!
Ikard and Richburg had a great showing. I say it's a tie between them.
I also think Furman's Dakota Dozier is going to be a pro-bowl caliber guard.
Cyrus was the biggest stock drop, in my estimation. Very disappointed.
I like your take on the o-lineman
Lewan is a monster, I think he has some incognito in him too which can be a good and a bad

I can give you fifty good reasons.
And no j cat, we aren't taking a tackle as the 3rd pick.

I would like for you to post those 50 reasons JW why we shouldn't
Anybody else over-hear the partial conversation that former NFL head coach Brian Billick was having with the three other guys when the NFL Network director turned up their microphones?
While Notre Dame OT Zack Martin was participating in the mirror drill, Mike Mayock commented on him and wondered aloud if it was possible for his colleagues Charles Davis and Daniel Jeremiah to add to his comments.
When the control booth turned up the sound, Billick was the only voice audible. It sure was interesting, but I doubt it was intended that we should hear what he was saying.
If you DVR'd it. Can you try to run it a couple of times and post what he was saying?
I'm not sure if I heard it right, but I'm 85% 50% sure he was commenting on the Jaguars.
Predictions for today:
Bortles' stock is hurt after being out thrown by Tajh Boyd.
Sammy Watkins breaks 40 record.
Another note...the mock interview between Steve Mariucci and Bortles was funny.
You could see the snarky smile and the twinkle in Mooch's eyes, when Bortles started explaining how he played in the pro-set offense....
To be a drop-back passer, it's generally accepted that you have to drop back.
You watch game after game, and Bortles rarely, if ever, starts under center, drops back, and fires a completion beyond the line of scrimmage.
I sure hope the pro scouts are able to force Bortles to throw drop-back passes. You'd hate to see a quarterback that can't drop-back go in the first round.
Wow Bortles ran a 4.8, he's faster on film than that.
Teddy isn't running a 40.

Or Bortles stock drops when he trips over his own two feet and gets a turf burn on his chin.
4.68 for Carr, good run.
4.9 for fales. Really don't like him.
4.65 for Carr's second run.
Not really worried about QB 40 times as long as they're quick enough to evade pressure and buy some extra time
Carr a bit faster than expected, Garoppolo slower than expected, everyone else as expected.
Manziel second run 4.56. That's better, i thought he was gonna run around 4.55.
