Carry on.
Seems like any discussion with you on this topic is always a waste of my time.
But to be fair, that's not much different than any number of folks who have fallen so far in love with him that they are blind to his criticism.
It's a shame, because you're better than that most of the time.

Troll on fella, you should make it a full time job
Care to add anything substantive to the discussion?

Comparing scouting reports is not saying Teddy will be better than Manning.
I've always been of the opinion that Teddy will be a very good QB in this league, and it's pretty clear I'm not alone in that opinion. Not sure why a difference in opinion gets some people on this board so agitated.

What else can somebody say???
Problem is that you have your mind made up on Teddy? You don't want him for whatever superficial reason that you have.

I'm not agitated at all.
I just don't see much revelance in such comparisons. It's quite anecdotal, and in the end as you see... there's nothing terribly useful about such an observation. The net effect is the two names together.
I myself was guilty of suggesting Aikman and Gabbert had similar rookie years - hopeless situations with hopeless rosters. Can you compare them? Sure. But there's really nothing to take away from it in the end.

Just as I suspected... zero substance. But then, that's what I've come to expect from you.

What are you talking about?
The comparison is being made between two players scouting reports
Besides if you actually watched the cowboys that year and instead of stat chucking you would realize that Aikman was far better than gabbert even during that season

You were also guilty of sticking with your pro Gabbert stance consistently into year 3. Then you stopped posting for 3 months and came back with a stance that was not pro Gabbert anymore, hoping people would forget your previous stance. Just own it, man.

Yep, and the Dallas OL at that point wasn't peaking as it was by 1992-1995, and Aikman in that 1989 season was getting the crap beat out of him more than Gabbert, and yet Aikman wasn't scared like Gabbert.

My biggest worry with Bridgewater is his "lowish" release point. I know that he was not a huge problem at Louisville, but with bigger linemen at the next level I fear he will have a ton of tipped balls that mess with his head or someone will totally try to "change his mechanics" that would make him think more instead of react resulting in him screwing up for the next few years.
