Quote:Who's to say they didn't try?

That wouldn't fit the narrative
Quote:I hope you are joking with this.

Not at all.  The atmosphere in the NE Corridor is much different when it comes to the NFL.   The south remains much more intense about accountability when it comes to the college game.  When I fly into BWI and Pittsburgh airports those fans want to hang players and coaches when they go 7-9 --- perhaps a little less in DC where the american population is only 25%.   I lived it for over half my life... the south is very mild when it comes to the NFL

The South is college football country son
Quote:Monroe played well against the Steelers.  I'm thinking his sluggish lazy ways were get a part of the losing culture he's been subject to in Jacksonville.  Sometimes it takes going to an intense environment where losing isn't an option to get the blood flowing once again.  No team in the Northeast Corridor (Washington, Philly, NYG, NYJ, New England, Pittsburgh) is content with a good effort if it doesn't come with a W.

ESPN shock-jock Cowherd loves to advance this philosophy.

It's as full as manure as he is.

I get that Philly and Giants fans can be real babies, but their attitudes won't win their team a single game.

Just because people in the South don't act like deranged idiots doesn't mean they accept losing or don't care about the teams. I'm quite happy that we aren't like Eagles fans.
