We should of took Lamar, would of helped as a specialist even if Blake had played lights out.

year.
And...

here

we

are

Dwayne Haskins is the only option for me!

Haskins throws a 'pretty' deep ball when he has a good, clean pocket. I wonder how he'd play against good teams/defense. Only been tested once as a starter. Looking forward to the Rose Bowl game.

You mean like when he played Michigan? lol

OSU didn't have a very good Oline this year either.

yea but when the best QB in coming out this year who will win the hiesman is going to play baseball. you can say its a down year.
Winning the Heisman as a QB doesn't make you the best QB prospect for the NFL.

And that would be the one time I stated. That line can't be too bad with the #2 offense in CFB. And hasn't  OSUs line ranked top 10 in CFB every week this season?

Well then you answered you own question. You wondered how he would do against a good defense and then he plays one and played lights out.

I think we'll draft someone in the later rounds to sit next year as a back-up and just for competition's sake. This team proved we can win with Blake as the QB but we have to fix the running game via offensive line and probably bring in a go-to receiver. Getting rid of Robinson/Hurns is proving costly. With Lee being down all season these younger guys can't get separation and can't hold onto the ball. God forbid we have a year with a decent offensive line and a healthy Fournette/tight end. Blake will likely be our best bet going into 2019 or we'll have to trade up and pray we get quality O-Line depth somewhere.

TCUs defense is always a good test for QBs and he did pretty well against them too
Haskins will be long gone by Jags pick @ 7-9.

Well hell, beat one decent Big 10 defense...sign him!
The draft is nearly 6 months away. Plenty of players rise and fall before then. Too early to judge before combine and interviews in the college game.

There may be options like Free Agency or Trades.
Rappoport and Glazer both reporting that the Jags are moving on from Blake after this year.

I feel like it’s obvious but there are a few who believe he will be back.

Bortles will be back because he was nominated by the Jaguars for the Walter Payton award. Good community players stay with their team for a long time.

Decent? Michigan had the #1 pass defense in the country.

I truly hope Rappoport and Glazer are right.
