Hiring Urban Meyer seems like an odd choice to me.  Especially at this stage, when they've not interviewed anyone for the job.  It's kind of like "Hey, how about Urban Meyer?"  It makes it seem like Shad and Tony Khan are not serious about how they run the team.  That's the impression it gives me.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. These two know nothing about football. I'm not even sure they like the game. They are soccer people. I believe they know who Urban Meyer is and that he is a big name, so they think everyone loves him, which is not the case at all. Instead of looking for the right people to run the team, they are just looking for big names.

Not the current Jags that have by far the most attractive opening in the league. We should be hiring a consulting firm and getting the consensus top candidate...and I don't think anyone would say Urban is the best candidate.

I saw that tweet said DJ Durkin was a lock for his staff too. I guess we're just going to be a college program playing in the NFL.
