I'd love to hear what Paul Posluszny has to say about Saleh. 

I'd wager it's not a Bradley-esque description and he'd know. Personally, I have no clue if he's got the goods to be HC or not, but his personality seems very un-Gus to me.

Why should these players risk their futures for a meaningless game? 

The schools don’t care about the players at all so why should they?

I agree with that.  Colleges and their coaches make millions, while the players get a scholarship.  Then the coach tells them it's all about the team and their teammates, and loyalty, but when the coach gets a better offer, he's gone.   I would advise any player to look out for himself.

I agree with that.  Colleges and their coaches make millions, while the players get a scholarship.  Then they want the players to risk injury in a meaningless game, so some crappy bowl game can make millions.   I would advise any player to opt out in those situations.

I mean it’s not a hard concept at all to understand. You do what’s best for the long term.

Ben Roethlisberger left his brothers on the field. He should have been out there in week 17 BATTLING.....

However... Just ask all the NFL players who had lots to say about them abandoning their brothers... their brothers who also have careers after this "meaningless" college game. For a lot of the others though it'll be their last game ever and this is the memory they'll have. Getting beaten like a drum by a team that wasn't even better than them.

It IS selfish, there's no way around that. They put themselves above the rest of their team.. which is by definition selfish. Do I blame them? Not really. But at the same time, there's nothing wrong with calling them out for it.

The game means nothing. Bowl games are the absolute worst part about college football. 

Did they skip a regular season game? Did they skip a playoff game? No.... they skipped the Chick Fila Meineke Mayo Bowl. Who cares?

Are you this upset at Roesthliberger? Or Mahomes? Or Kelce? Are they selfish?

I'm with you on this. Maybe back years ago when a bowl game meant something, but pretty much everyone gets into a bowl game now. Who cares?

Your logic is understandable. However, I find the comparison between a coach who has spent decades of his adulthood building a career and very young adult who is just emerging and is being compensated with a free ride scholarship worth over $100K, not to mention the top-notch athletic development and exposure, to be a little ridiculous. The coach has far more invested in his career than a college football player.

I hope we hear about us being linked to Brady today. I have a hunch he is going to be the best of this bunch when all is said and done.

I also saw a separate article saying that we've requested an interview with Falcons interim head coach, Raheem Morris.

I think it’s a different scenario. Bradley rose to prominence under defensive coaches. Saleh is having success under an offensive head coach. Plus, his defense is just better than Bradley’s.

I’m still hesitant to pick up Sean McVay types. McVay himself has stood up to the pressure, but the jury’s out on Kingsbury and Zac Taylor is in hopelessly over his head. It’s far from a hard no, especially with a very young team, but I’d still be kind of jittery about it.

I don’t think the Falcons are going to let Morris go. He did some great work after taking over for Quinn and is thought very highly of by ownership here.

I still want Anthony Lynn. The Chargers organization gave up on him, but his players never quit. Four straight wins at the end of the year, and the work he did with Justin Herbert was outstanding. That’s the type of HC you give a second chance to, not a guy like Gase or Garrett.
