Why is everyone so opposed to him playing TE? We are trash at TE and can use any help. Its not like there are any quality TEs available on the market at the moment. So what's wrong with this hail mary? It isn't like it costs us much, if anything.
So what if a trash wannabe TE takes attention away from the rest of the trash team?

Hes literally been in the NFL for 2 seasons... We have no clue if it was just bad luck or if he'll be injury prone.
Also the injury he suffered in week 11 that put him on IR was all because of trash [BLEEP] Foles. He threw a terrible ball that Oliver had to go to the ground to catch, which left him wide open to take a shot and some dude blasted him right in his back/spine.
Meanwhile what's the best bet for Tebow? 3rd or 4th string TE? That guy will never see the field. And there's no point in even bringing up leadership blah blah. Players don't follow bad players. Good players are leaders in the locker room and he isn't any good.

I don't like it. But, so far, he's only on the 90 man roster, and I doubt he will get past that.
I talked to someone in the ticket office today, and he said there has been a noticeable uptick in phone calls about season tickets since the word came out that we are signing him.

Why not just bring back Tyler Eifert then? He's 30, actually plays the position and played just this past season. He wouldn't cost us much of anything and he's better than Tebow will EVER be.
This is nothing more than a buddy hire from Urban and it's embarrassing. This move will not make this team any better. I can't imagine what the actual players on this team are saying to each other behind closed doors about this stupid signing. I wonder how our TE room feels.. Knowing your HC thinks you guys are so bad that he has to bring in Tebow for help LOL.
