I don't think it is that. I would tell the team he is here to compete at TE and if he is good enough to make the roster he will, if he isn't, then he won't.

I don't think it is that. I would tell the team he is here to compete at TE and if he is good enough to make the roster he will, if he isn't, then he won't.

I'd wager there's not a single player in that locker room who thinks he's good enough to be in camp, much less make the roster. This move again calls into question the credibility of the "No Distractions" Head Coach and Front Office (BIRM). But hey, gata fan is thrilled.
