I wonder where this leaves Viska. We all want him to be CPAT or Deebo, but maybe the team doesn't envision that.

This paints a more reasonable picture

He needs to work the jugs gun 8 hours a day until the season starts

Not bad though with 103 targets and Murray missing 3 games in the regular season. Seems like he's on the up though. Only 25 and coming off his best year. Getting him for 4 years seems ideal. Could end up being a great fit in this offense. Still more work to do in free agency and the draft though. Would be happy with Christian Watson or Trey McBride at pick 33. I think Alec Pierce with his size and speed should be considered at 65 or 70 as well.

What I think would put the offense over the top is pray Watson is there at 33, take him and use our 2 3's to move up into the 2nd and take McBride
I'd like Valdes Scantling and Zay Jones now. Get rid of Marvin and draft a guy in the second. That gives us a good WR room. No dominant #1 but guys who can run. Oh I'd take JU JU too.

Thing is I think last year was an illusion. His head wasn't in it because of Urban hounding him about not being a burner.

Have we forgot in his 1st year he had the best hands on the team?

I see Agnew fitting into that role a lot better. Shenault gonna end up odd man out or buried on the depth chart, especially if he doesn't control the drops

I had the exact same thought!  Love him with the ball in his hand. But he was hands of stone last year.

The one from the Jets, damn! sounds good...

As with Andre Cisco, Foley Fatukasi is from the NYC Borough of Queens.  A much higher % of NBA players are from Queens and NYC overall, than NFL players.
Hearing rumors that Arob is deciding between a homecoming or signing with another team.

Homecoming could fit us or the Lions, which way do you mean it.

I would look at Shenault as a poor man's Patterson this summer. See if you can get some formations going where he's getting in and out of the backfield. Work him inside at the LOS instead of outside to get him open underneath in natural pick plays.

I think Jones, Kirk and Agnew look decent on paper. However. Again. It's still early in FA. Russell Gage, Zay Jones, Jarvis Landry, Allen Robinson and MVS are still out there.

He's too slow and his hands are trash. He's very movable this coming season, be it a low end pick or just straight up cutting him.

That's not too bad for Kirk imo

So his rookie season just evaporated from your memory?
If these 4 players all sign on Wednesday, the Jaguars have added:

1. A pro bowl guard who is 30.

2. One of the better run-stuffing defensive tackles last season who is 27.

3. Leading NFL tackler last season at inside linebacker who is 26.

4. Very fast slot receiver whose best days are ahead of him at age 25.

This haul should permanently silence anyone who claimed that no good free agents would sign with such a terrible team with the worst general manager. That case is closed. Just admit you were wrong and get on the bandwagon. If you are a true Jaguars fan, you should be ecstatic. Those posters who love to be critical will always find something to criticize so I have no doubt they will focus on how overpaid these guys were.

Even if the Jaguars sign no more prime free-agents, they have placed themselves in a great position for the draft. Hutchinson is a no-brainer at #1. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see this team go back to a 4-3 defense with Jack returning to outside linebacker where he excels. Hutchinson and Allen make a great combo at defensive end. Since they got Kirk, I'd expect them to draft a bigger receiver in round 2 like Pickens or Burks- if available.
After that, they can keep taking the BAP, especially if they play tight end, offensive line or cornerback. Another receiver and running back can be found as late as round 6 due to the depth at both positons.

It will take 2 more seasons to realistically believe this team has a shot at the playoffs, but they have begun the Pederson era in a very positive manner.
If Kirk could be like our Tyler Lockett... that would be ideal.

If you can get 4 starters out of FA it was a good haul
It has a fantasy slant to it so some of y'all may not put as much stock into it, but I think this is a very good breakdown of Kirk in general and how he fits with us. It also shows a cutup of all of his catches vs us last year that is pretty cool.

In summary, if you don't watch, Kirk's numbers on the outside and vs man are very bad. Kirk's numbers from the slot and vs zone are quite good. Obviously we are counting on him improving on the outside cause he's going to have to play in 2 WR sets with this much money, but really we need to be playing a TON of 11 personnel.

Depends on the rest of FA and the draft. Could still land a good number one with experience or a promising rookie with size and speed for the outside.

Surprised no news has been mentioned about the TE position yet. Thought they would be eyeing quite a few decent options there.

Man I hope Watson is there at 33.
