NewtonIf cam turns out to be a one year rental, then we move Little to Lt and draft a RT next year. I have a feeling little is going to beat cam out for a left tackle anyway this year.

Though too small of a sample set to draw vast conclusions, to me it does not seem to be a coincidence that two out of the three games Little started resulted in victories, where as we only won a single game with cam Robinson starting the entire year. Obviously lots of factors go into that, but it’s not like Cam Robinson was the difference maker compared to little.

By tagging Cam and not converting him to a long term deal we are kicking the can down the road for a year. That means we need to find another tackle in this years draft while we have good draft position not next year. There are very few college linemen that can just step in their rookie year and do well. They need at least a year to acclimate to the league. Cam has gotten better each year and is slightly above average tackle now. We have invested a lot in his training do we really want to walk away from that investment?

I guess we could not find another tackle and be having this conversation next year too.

I'm starting to think they play Little at LG.  Could have elite potential there

I'm gonna guess Will Fuller.

I personally wouldn’t categorize that as significant.  Dude cannot stay healthy.

If the reports are true that the team is actively trying to negotiate a long term deal with Cam, then pulling the tag prematurely is unwise. It's their safety net in case they don't have their tackle positions outfitted properly.
If both sides have decided to move on - that's a different story. I don't think we're there yet.

Cam not signing could very likely just be a very basic negotiating tactic to land a long term contract with the Jags.

Unless the Jags are on the verge of signing a clear replacement at OT - there is no point in rescinding the tag right now.

I'm not saying I favor rescinding  the franchise tag.  I just don't consider it screwing over the player or believe that it would negatively impact future acquisitions if we did.  I also believe the conversation with rescinding the tag was in reference to the Jaguars acquiring La'el Collins.  I would favor signing Collins, rescinding the tag on Cam, and save the salary cap space.  I agree that we shouldn't rescind it without a replacement in place.

As far as Cam, I think we keep him as a one year stop gap and use our first rounder next year on a tackle.  I'm hoping that Little shows over the course of the year that he can be the left tackle of the future.  As such, we would only need a right tackle and they are much easier to find.

I'll lose my mind if it's DJ Moore.

I have no clue, but my guess is Cordarelle.
Wow. What who?

I'm gonna guess Will Fuller.

I'm going with Dilla talking out his rear.

If we sign another offensive player, which isn't a stretch, you guys are going to say he called it.

If you throw enough obvious crap out there, some of it will stick.

He got it from Schrager.  He hasn't called any thing this year.  He tried to guess it right a few times but missed. It's safe to say the guy he knows is no longer in the building

Nothing right at least. Missed head coach, GM.

He tried to call a couple of receivers where we showed no more interest than due diligence

We have a position of need, player becomes potentially available, Dilla says we are negotiating a trade for said player, nothing happens, Dilla sheep say we let the trade fall apart. Rinse repeat.

This guy isn't hitting more than an educated guess. Tons of dumb [BLEEP] twitter followers.
What if the offensive move is RT Lael Collins?

That is an obvious good guess. You should have a twitter following like Dilla.

Obvious Guess: La'el Collins at RT

Out of Nowhere like Randy Orton Guess: Jarvis Landry (Have heard little to no buzz around here on this guy, kind of surprising) Up until last year he has had a fairly decent and productive career between the Dolphins and Browns.

He wasn't really wrong about the HC and GM. They were 95% of the way there, several other experts/insiders said so too, and then everyone collectively underestimated just how in love Shad is with Baalke. It's kind of hard to quantify that with rumors and reports.

He has been pretty spot on with FA, though. He said days and weeks before that we were very interested with all of Scherff, Oluokon, and Kirk and he while everyone else was saying we were done for the first cycle he kept saying we were trying to get Darious done. No one else was that accurate.

If we made a spider chart of accurate/inaccurate Jags "insiders" he would have a far higher hit rate than anyone else, but then you would try to bash that too because you are emotional about spider charts.

It's okay that he has more followers and more people that care about what he says.

You should never do direct comparisons to other people because that just leads to depression, anger and hate.
