I agree, it would take a home run draft. But this at least gives them freedom in the draft to target who they want. I am hoping for at least a Day 1-3 level offensive signing.
I have to keep reminding myself that we can’t fix it all in one off-season…
But we have to be able to field three wide receivers at one time before this off-season is done.
Jeez I leave for half an hour and the world turns upside down (plus my Braves trading for Olson). Looks like the Jags got some good players, but as usual paid through the nose for non premium positions. Not good, not bad. Will likely regret it down the road like we did with Norwell, Schobert, and Jack. But we got better for right now.

The Jaguars are signing one of my favorite NFL players. The vast majority of times I've watched a Falcons game in recent years, Foye Oluokun was making a tackle or an even greater impact play!

Two additional Jaguars Coaching FA connections are with Bob Sutton, who was a Senior Defensive Assistant with the Falcons in 2019 and 2020. Falcons LB Foyesade Oluokun, who I believe is one of the most underrated players in the entire NFL, is an UFA who Sutton coached. Another is Lions UFA OLB/ DE Charles Harris, who Sutton coached in 2020. Harris is coming off his best season.

Ugh, we don't need to sign any big money running backs. We have JRob and ETN -- easily a top 10 backfield. Spend remaining free agency money on a WR or TE on offense.

We weren't going to get the premium guys, but we can pay through the nose for nose tackles, off ball linebackers, guards, and slot receivers.
No doubt we are a better team now, but we're going to have to clean up in the draft to fill the hard positions.
We are winning the off-season again!
Also. I could give two [BLEEP] about money. Cap space. This team has won 4 games over the last 2 years. Have to try. At least on paper it appears they're trying. So. Tip my hat to Baalke here.
Signing a G, WR, LB and DT gives them a little bit more wiggle room next month in April.
