Those fratty and out of touch people have been throwing money at AB for decades. These idiots don't understand that you don't bite the hand that feeds you.

I find it hard to believe that a 30-year-old junior executive was given free rein to run advertising for a multi-billion-dollar brand without some oversight. AB was probing the market and she was the ambitious executive used as the fall girl, er, birthing person, in case it didn't work out.

Yep, exactly. They push the envelope way too far, fire the scape mammal, then do it again going about half as far a year later.

I still believe AB would have survived the DM can promo with a simple explanation/statement along the lines of “hey we’re reaching out to new markets, we still love you”.  A few jabs later everything is forgotten.  Them going silent and when finally speaking having that ad exec basically say we no longer want you blue collar fratty types drinking our beer did them in.

She was 39 years old, a graduate from Harvard (BS degree) and then got her Masters degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.  She was the VP of Marketing for Bud Light and credited with their very popular Super Bowl commercial.    I don't doubt for 1 min that she was a decision maker at AB.

In hindsight they absolutely should have done exactly that.
It seems like they thought only Dylan Mulvaney's fans would see the promo.  It seems like they had no plan at all for what to do if the "wrong" people saw it, because they did nothing to speak that reaction.

Might become a case study in MBA programs as soon as next year.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders trolls Bud Light with koozie for 'real women'
Arkansas governor trolls Bud Light with spoof of beer company's 'Real Men of Genius' ad campaign

Republican female governors are hitting back at Bud Light with koozies made for "real women," as Americans nationwide join forces in boycotting the controversial beer.

The new beer sleeve for women comes after well-known beer company Bud Light was blasted for recruiting controversial transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, a biological male who identifies as a transgender woman, to sponsor the brand.

In a Twitter post Monday, Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, R-Ark., announced the launch of "Real Woman" koozies to go on sale in the wake of the Bud Light controversy.

She apparently isn't a birthing person, supposedly used a surrogate. Add in her looks, she may have transformed herself.
