I’d much rather prefer a return to those old family values that Walt instilled.

You mean way back when people had respect for other people? And people parented their kids and taught their kids morals and values too?

Yeah that was a while ago lol

He has a bunch of Jeb and Paul Ryan scum advising him. I get he wants to get their money but he also shows he is beholden to the people paying his bills.

I would respect him more and be all in for him in 2028 if he would just make a statement about dumping them and going direct to the people.

Even the Trump hating RINOs are losing interest in funding him as they see there is no way to win.

I think the Trump-haters are losing interest because DeSantis is trying to be more Trump-ish than Trump himself.  He's trying to out-Trump Trump.  Which makes him look ridiculous.  I mean, come on, what is this ongoing battle with Mickey Mouse supposed to accomplish?  "Look at me, I'm an [BLEEP] hole!  I'm even more of an [BLEEP] hole than Trump!"

It signals that he's unwilling to allow a corporation to self-govern while actively involving itself in local politics. That's what it accomplishes, and his supporters are fine with that. It's easy to understand why a RINO Party that's a wholly owned subsidiary of the Corporate Class would oppose such measures.

What it looks like to moderate voters is that he's too caught up in his fixation with reversing LBGT-friendly policy,  shipping off brown people to other states, and campaigning for a prez run to actually govern his own state.

Oh no, brown people! There’s that intellectual laziness we expect from the left. When reason fails, play the race card.

Just so we're clear:

LGBT-Friendly Policy = giving illustrative materials about gay sex and illegal sex acts to 2nd graders.
Brown People = illegal immigrants dumped in Florida by the Feds rerouted to Blue states that never have that problem so they have some skin in the game.
Campaigning for Prez = endorsing and enacting Florida Friendly Policies to the detriment of large corporations and left leaning states.

Again, not something his supporters oppose. And if they were honest with themselves most moderates would agree.

Who did this? When? Where?
Please show him so he can ignore it.

Even if actually occurred, it's already illegal here.  Presumably someone is being punished.  Are there any elected officials who want this kind of thing to happen?

Oh no, brown people! There’s that intellectual laziness we expect from the left. When reason fails, play the race card.

If it applies, apply it.

Political stunts that involve duping unsuspecting immigrants into a misrepresented relocation makes the application valid.

Do you really think his obsession with Texas borders is serving any interest other than his potential prez bid?
Whether the guy is actually as racist as he comes across, or if he's just using immigration policy as a carrot to gain conservative base, it works out badly for immigrants who are already here and undeserving of being pawns in some bull [BLEEP] stunt.
So you think he's shipping immigrants from TX?

It doesn’t apply but the left wants so desperately to make it so. The border is wide open and being flooded with drugs and *gasp* brown migrants who are overwhelming services in Texas, New York, Chicago and anywhere else the government flies them to in the middle of the night.

DeSantis flies one small plane load to limousine leftist land and they [BLEEP] the bed.
If he did this to white migrants the left wouldn’t give a flying [BLEEP], but since there’s a race card to be played to distract from the real issue, they throw down.

Manufactured outrage is manufactured.

Double edged sword.
I think your concern over the border is manufactured outrage.
The issues with our borders are basically no different than they've been for decades and no where near as serious as the fear mongering fueling your concerns about immigration and border safety.

It needs more thoughtful regulation and it has for some time - but the fear propagated about what and who is crossing our borders is 90% nonsense meant to gather conservative ire and votes. Which makes such stunts (funded by taxpayers) even more annoyingly pointless.

I'm sure this is one lowly incident, just an anomaly in the grand theme of things pertaining to our border.

But that's just manufactured outrage too.

The bolded is exactly accurate and the incident, whether accurately reported here or not, is indeed a perfect example of anecdotal information being used to foster fear.

Fear? Oh I'm sure that poor girl was [BLEEP] terrified..

Sounds to me like you've been exposed to manufactured ignorance if you think this is a lone incident..
