From the article. This is what is preventing A-B from recovering. The power of Woke compels thee!

Now, both are gone. It’s interesting A-B isn’t being more public about the decision to move off them. It would signal to consumers it’s taking the crisis seriously.

The way they are behaving makes me wonder how many of these decisions are being made by the European HQ, which may not have a full understanding of what their market over here really is.

That’s a likely take. Even so, one would expect them to be more mindful of the bottom line. It’s a classic case of being penny wise and pound foolish.
Announce their firings and deal with the potential lawsuit which may cost them a few tens of millions of dollars. That is far preferable to the billions they are losing now, not to mention the damage to their brand which is having a huge effect on future earnings.
They hide from the truth to avoid confronting what they’re told to believe.

Dylan Mulvaney takes trip to Peru to 'feel safe' after Bud Light disaster: 'I feel very safe' outside of USA
In the TikTok video, Mulvaney also claimed to have done 'shaman ceremonies'

Wouldn't it be funny if Dylan Mulvaney did some Ayahuasca and came back a straight conservative?

No more fake than what he's already done so far.

Nothing of the sort would shock me at this point

It won't happen, but what if it made Ayahuasca a fad - like all the dudes who stopped drinking Bud Light started doing DMT instead...
Joe Rogan already made Ayahuasca a fad. I don't think people can afford it, but there's a growing industry in Peru based on its' increasing popularity.
Yeah - it's been popular for some time now.

The psilocybin market is exploding as well.
Measured micro-dosing of mushrooms is considered a legit mental health benefit by a large swath of the medical community already. Dozens of Pharma companies are racing one another to find and patent a scrip med with the ingredient.
Anheuser-Busch forced to sell off EIGHT of its craft beer brands after a staggering $27 billion loss

You know, the article you linked actually says Anheuser-Busch's world-wide revenue was UP 7% last quarter.   So they probably weren't "forced" to sell off those craft beer brands.

And there wasn't any $27 billion loss.  I don't know where you got that number.  They're not losing money.  I looked it up, and their 2nd quarter 2023 revenue was over $15 billion, with $339 million net income.  Where do you get that $27 billion loss?

If you want to speculate a little, it might be time to buy the stock.  This boycott BS is going to eventually blow over.  They make a lot of different brands of beer, they sell them worldwide, and they are still making money.  And people aren't going to stop drinking beer.

Imbev is an international brand, Anheuser-Busch is an American brand.  The AB portion of Imbev is suffering. You might be right that eventually AB might bounce back over time but “This boycott BS” as you say was extremely effective.  The lost revenue will never be recovered and the common man has made it clear to corporations to stay out of politics.

On a side note the beer drinkers I know are really not that upset with the ad campaign itself but the initial response by AB’s marketing exec and then the lack of an apology.  Funny how the media and the left continues to miss that point.

Beer conglomerates constantly churn lesser brands the same way NFL teams move depth players on and off their roster throughout the offseason/preseason.

There's really no story here. Just standard business practice. The prolific rise of the craft beer market and its multitude of brands has only served to increase the frequency with which this common occurrence takes place.

AB didn't start most of those brands. They acquired them when they saw them as competition or an opportunity to expand those brands' limited distribution. When those craft products' popularity wanes or suffers from typical market cycles, they let them go. Nothing new, nothing unusual.

True.  $85 million is a drop in the bucket for a company with $15 billion in quarterly revenue.
Anheuser-Busch family heir volunteers to buy back company from current owners: 'Make that brand great again'
Billy Busch urged Anheuser-Busch InBev, 'Sell it to me. I’ll be the first in line to buy that brand back from you. And we’ll make that brand great again'

The heir to the Anheuser-Busch company has offered to buy back his family’s old company from its parent company if it was looking to sell it.

Billy Busch, whose family sold Anheuser-Busch to InBev in 2008, declared he would be the "first in line" to buy back the company and "make that brand great again."

The beermaker heir provided comments on an episode of conservative host Tomi Lahren’s "Fearless" this week, almost five months after Anheuser-Busch endured a major boycott for making trans woman Dylan Mulvaney one of Bud Light’s spokespeople.

I doubt Billy Busch has enough money to do that.

Right.. I mean, I volunteer to be in charge of A-B also.  Put me in coach!
In reality, since InBev holds the valuable asset, they would be volunteering to him if they put him back in charge.
