I fear this is going to be a running theme for our Jags this year.
Maybe getting Robinson back and shifting Little to guard could potentially shore up the O-line woes - but who knows.
All I know its that O-line needs to be addressed early in the draft next year.

I've been screaming it from the rooftops to deaf ears for months on end
Trevor 100% will not last a full season getting beat up like that every week - much less find targets accurately
He was bad today and the constant pressure had a lot to do with it

Don’t the Jags lose their 2nd round pick if they resign Ridley?

Yes.
If Ridley gets an extension with us, then it means he would have definitely earned it with his output - so I'm ok with a 2nd round pick for him.
I'd like to see how the college prospects start shaking out as the year progresses but ideally, if there is an absolute mauler interior O-lineman worthy of a 1st round pick - we should seriously consider taking him if he happens to be the BAP at our selection.
TL sacks.
11:24 Q1, Jones runs around Harrison and flushes TL forward and into the arms waiting DL.
4:04 Q2, Jones runs around Harrison and gets TL solo.
4:41 Q4, Jones runs around Harrison and get TL in a share, maybe. Or they may give him that solo.
Additionally Jones knocked down a pass running around Harrison.
Jones picked on the new guy.
Remind me again why we drafted a RB in the 3rd?

I guess to do nothing. [BLEEP] is aggravating and questionable. There was no reason to outright abandon the running game today. They had success with the TE in motion and pulling back inside to lead block in the interior area.
Baffling that they didnt try to run it 4 straight times in a row there at the goal line late when they tried running it 3 times in a row last week.
Not sure what's going on but it goes back to January when this offense was struggling and getting pushed around by KC and it was the same damn thing today.
You replaced Taylor with Harrison. That's it. You dropped a pick on a RT and then waited until RD7 to take another lineman who is already off to a rough start with being on IR. A small school prospect at that.
13 picks with two invested on it. Aggravating. Adding insult to decision making when your 2nd and 3rd RD investments have done nothing already in 2 weeks.
It's early. We're all pissed off. I get it. BUT... these kinds of decisions are what holds your team back in the play off hunt and play off contests. Passing on Salyer the previous year for a RB they traded up for and just cut a year later in Conner also pissed me off.
You have to protect your QB. Period. The amount of money the Chiefs have thrown at their offensive line is probably all you need to copy or understand. I mean, did we not just see Luck's career [BLEEP] ruined because of this?
They need to get this [BLEEP] fixed in March/April of 2024. It is what it is for this year. Expect another 9 to 10 win season and maybe an upset in the play off's with another divisional bounce against the Chiefs.

Stock down after the loss: The offensive line. It had trouble keeping the Chiefs off Lawrence: He was pressured on 25% of his drop backs and also was sacked three times into the early part of the fourth quarter. Rookie RT Anton Harrison had trouble with Chris Jones (five pressures and 1.5 sacks). -- Mike DiRocco

Welcome to the NFL, Anton Harrison.

Not pissed off but like to face thing realistically. The team that gave the QB more time won today, the better team. We could have easily won this game.
What irritates me...Watch I believe the 3rd sack. 6 linemen cashed TL down and 3 of them fell on him. NONE of our O line even went over to help TL up. If we do rebuild this line and that attitude continues none should be considered better than back ups.
The offensive line is clearly the team's greatest weakness. I'd make a call to Dalton Risner, who is still available.
Yeah, the PFF grades for the O-Line are gonna be brutal this week...

Yes. Agreed. We're already in the hole with the Ridley trade but I feel your first two selections need to go towards addressing the interior of the offensive line.
I think Center and Guard on either side are in need of upgrades. I don't see how we get away with not addressing it. It goes back to January for me.

Where is "O Line Matters" when ya need him...lol

No way do I disagree Cal. But if Allen leaves what about the pass rush? The team really needs to find a way to dip into free agency a bit imo.

He's sitting at 0 -2 with Big Bucks Burrow and the Bengals I believe.

I think you tag Allen and off set his hit with releasing Cam Robinson who is costing you almost $20M this year to [BLEEP] your team over for a month.
Little has at least been quiet in two weeks and not glaringly as bad as the guys all playing to the right of him.

Brandon Scherff...
He's either playing poorly because he's injured...or he is simply not as good as advertised. Our rookie isn't the only O-Lineman consistently getting pushed backwards.
I wasn't a fan of Brandon's last year, and we found out it was due to an injury. (allegedly)
This year, once again I'm not a fan. We need to draft two offensive linemen going forward.

Same here. I'd have him and Little take over at guard. Scherff can be the very expensive Shatley utility guy the rest of the year. Bartch can ride the bench. Fortner can be replaced by a street free agent.

As long as he doesn't shove Trevor like he did Rypien, I'm all for it.
