That's actually impressive for both of them.

Yes
Would be great if we really have two tackles worth holding on to - even if Little will need to get paid fairly soon.

It's sad at the same time because 3 guys can't block 2-3, plus the RB there sometimes

My HS coach use to always tell me that your OL is only as good as your QB is. Not sure I agreed with that statement.

That is ok as from a team budget angle you do not want your whole O-line on the same schedule. (Contracts all coming due about the same time)
Call me crazy but I believe we have 3 of the next generation of O-line in Little, Anton and Hodges.  Yea, I know Tugboat hasn't played an actual game yet but anyone that is given a nickname like that has to have something going for him.  Yea he has a Patella injury, but while the brace for the ACL is not too effective the one for the Patella is suppose to be real good.

Guess I am a Homer for local guys

Fake news. Just playing
So these OL players were available to us in the draft and we took:
  • A TE who has played about 25% of the off. snaps with 2 targets and a few good blocks.
  • A RB who may have a ball security issue who was supposed to help on short yardage - while we are last in the league in short yardage
  • and a [BLEEP] ILB when we literally had too many ILBs who hasn't played a damn snap

I was and am ok with the Strange pick, he's going to be really good IMO. The next 4 picks though? [BLEEP] me, how could we not focus on the actual needs?

Yeah, I have no issue with the Strange pick or the Bigsby pick in and of themselves. But, not picking up good available linemen at those picks was malpractice.

Yep. Major OOF there in the evaluation and scouting process. It all falls on Baalke. You had 13 picks entering that draft back in April. Criminally insane that they only addressed the OL on the opening night of the draft and the last day of the draft in RD7.

It'll be a miracle if they turn it all around this year and sneak into the postseason but if they keep Baalke in town he's going to have to address the glaring issues on both sides of the football line play wise.

Been [BLEEP] about the lack of Strange and Bigsby offensively as well. So far a waste of a 2nd and 3rd pick.

Geez dude, they're 2-2. There's no "sneaking in" for this team, they're .500 in a division where about that record will likely win it at the end of the season; easy on the rhetoric.

You have higher optimism than me. I don't think they're a shoe in to win this division at the moment.

Slight issue with Strange but overall, it'll be fine. Bigsby pick may have been the worst pick of the entire draft and that's not even a shot at Bigsby. He will be a good player but why on earth are we continuing to take RBs with crucial draft picks?

Optimism and "miracle" are drastically different perspectives. Last year's team was a miracle, this year's will be disappointment if they don't make the post season.

Yes
the RB and LB were more egregious - but Torrence would have immediately helped our weakest unit - B.Strange - not so much

The Strange pick was the worst pick we made.  Torrence should be a Jag right now
Dawaand Jones was the another olineman I wanted and would of been a steal in the 3rd

The record says we’re all the same, even if I have higher regard for out talent and ceiling. Hard Work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.

And yet they're going to move him to LG....

At least we know we are going to get Anton and Little for the future.
