According to current polling, she would do a lot better than Biden. And like I say, a vote for Biden is a vote for Harris anyway, because Biden won't last 4 more years. They have to nominate someone. Obviously, it can't be Biden. Who should it be?
I think they need to nominate someone who can walk and talk. The contrast between that person and Joe Biden could provide a boost.
Harris can win. The odds aren't in her favor but it is doable. Similar to Trump in 2016.
As I said before, the only Dems with connections to big, national money right now are Pirtzger, Jeffries, Whitmer, and Schumer. I suppose there's a scenario where the group of them negotiate with their donors in a dark smoke filled room, but they were all in middle school the last time a negotiation like that took place. They will be too scared of the whole thing getting aired out in some embarrassing way. They'd rather try their luck with Harris.

I keep hearing the name Gavin Newsom but I don't see it. California is a complete crapfest so if he can't run his own state well why would you expect him to run the country well? He is also extreme Left minded. The other issue as others have pointed out is the race issue. This administration preaches inclusion and LGBTQ++++++++ rights and all that woke insanity. Imagine the backlash if they pass up the first black female vice president for some white guy. The NAACP would be knocking down their doors and Al Sharpton would have another reason to put his stupid face in the cameras again. I am a believer in the go woke and go broke mentality. They reap what they Sow. Harris is a loser but no doubt will get some votes do to her checking some of the identity boxes.

You have the problem of believing what politicians say, it really affects your ability to analyze the situation and understand what's happening. Barry doesn't care if Mike wants it, now that Biden is sundowning it's the only way he gets that 4th term and he'll do anything to insure he gets it.
