Sure seems like it right now. This time around, Trump seems much more disciplined in his actions and inactions, such as staying moderately quiet while us Dems go through internal turmoil. I'm not certain if he is getting better consultation (in which he is listening to) or if he's learned a lot from the past, or perhaps both.
Assuming all continues to go relatively stable for Trump, I think there is only 1 person the Dems can place as a candidate that has a decent chance of beating Trump, and that is Michelle Obama. Sounds crazy, but the Obama White House possibility would get the Dems off the couch and down to the voting booths. As it currently stands, most (possibly including me) will be sitting at home on election day.

Michelle Obama is the absolute worst choice for President. No leadership experience, no government experience, etc. The only things she has going for her is the gender that she identifies as, the color of her skin and her last name.
Picture the disaster that it would be to have her meeting with leaders of other nations, dealing with adversaries, dealing with the border, dealing with the economy, etc., etc.
Then again, many liberals and democrats tend to vote based on popularity rather than qualifications, but I have faith that there aren't that many stupid people to vote for her and defeat Trump.
Here is a good waste of 5 or so minutes. Jeff Dunham is one of my favorite comedians.

I simply stated "I think there is only 1 person the Dems can place as a candidate that has a decent chance of beating Trump, and that is Michelle Obama." I did not make any inferences regarding her capabilities to govern at that level.
That said, Michelle has had many initiatives (see link) and I recall a president in the past also not having any gov experience.
Again, this is not about Michelle's qualifications but rather her electability.

In a rational world, the two things would be the same.
But political campaigns are highly irrational.

I have seen a poll that shows Trump running very close to various non-Biden Democrats. He's leading Biden by about 6 points nationwide, but other potential candidates are doing much better than that. I think there are several Democrats who would have a decent chance of beating Trump if they get started now. People in general don't want Biden or Trump. They want someone new.

That's the thing, Trump is clearly the more qualified but in your mind he's unelectable. Thanks for finally recognizing that you are an irrational buffoon!

Trump is more qualified than a vegetable. Biden is a vegetable. That is all true. Not a high bar to clear. "Our candidate is better than a vegetable!"

In the (not really) two choice election, one candidate had 4 years of tremendous success against the disgusting left while in 3.5 years the other can't successfully stop from [BLEEP] himself in public.
Anyway, my vote is for Chase Oliver.

You have that precisely backwards.
In 2016 I said Trump wasn't electable and any other Republican could beat Hillary but not him.
I was wrong.
Trump is electable, doesn't matter who you ask.
He's still not qualified though, not in my mind.
And we are all irrational buffoons in the mind of at least one other person.

After the Debate trump did the wisest thing ever. He shut up and let the liberal media eat itself. The silence was deafening.

Just keep feeding them more rope lolol
I'm loving every minute of this!!
Both parties need to be flushed, but I'm experiencing the most enjoyment out of watching that Democrat/Libtard ship sink with the rats still on board.
This is going to be a GREAT 4+ years!!

Had no idea there were two Jon Favreau's. At first glance I was like "wow, dude has lost some weight and had a lot of work done."
Also, gotta love Clooney brushing aside the [BLEEP] show with the comment "Democracy is messy." Sure, bud. Eat your [BLEEP] sandwich. It's well earned and deserved.

And that's why you're wrong, you don't even understand your own position. Trump's policies are great, you don't like him personally. So in your mind he's NOT electable because of his personality not his obvious qualifications. No one thinks you're right about that, but it is what it is.

Words mean things.
"Qualified" is a personal, subjective assessment of a person based only on their own skills, history, personality, and experiences. Almost none of it is quantifiable.
"Electable" is a personal assessment of a candidate based on how you think others will vote. It is based mostly on polls, and also campaign budgets. Therefore it's partially quantifiable, and a lot of it is objective rather than subjective.
