Jags don't run a complicated defense. It is all predicated on getting QB pressure quickly which they cannot do right now.
If teams can break that down, it is easy to scheme guys open.
Both Browns and Bills have done that.

It's Monday Night, and we look like we don't even know how to football.
At some point just need to strip it all down to studs. They have had too much of the trying to salvage stuff over the past decade.
There are are other NFL FO people out there who can or will be better than TB.
I'm with you. But the only point I'm making is that it's not just Baalke that has to go. Pederson and his coaching staff are all trash, as well.
This team looks like they have no real direction. And that's on the coaches. It's not like we don't have talent. But if your coaches are trash, they don't get better. They regress. Yeah, we could have taken another player here or there. But the coaches should be able to develop players.
Name a player that we've actually developed. I can't think of one. They all came in and they are what they were when we drafted them, or they've gotten worse. That's a coaching thing.
The players could actually be good if we had a real coaching staff that could figure out how to make them better.

Maybe Mike McCoy would be better? He ran offenses with Peyton and Phillip Rivers. Maybe he could scheme something that works?
I just feel it would be outdated, Trevor cannot run those kinds of systems, and line cannot block for that style of system.
That's the worst part about having Press as the OC..... The Jags have a coach with a ton of OC experience AND HC experience. And he's only the QB coach?! Get rid of Doug and press and give McCoy an in season interview at this point. Let's see if he can make this team somewhat functional.
I want a HC that doesn't have to wear reading glasses...
