I don't think anyone is ready to throw in the towel on the season; I sure am not! But everybody has to agree that it's crazy how the injury bug hits us. Yes, injuries happen to every team and maybe I'm just not remembering other teams situations; but man, it's nuts how that dang bug keeps biting us in the rear.......... He may not miss a lot of time. We don't know. But we can agree that he is/was going to be a major part of this defense. And if he comes back in quick time, does having this now create the possibility of something more damaging happening at a higher percentage? And what if he has to have the full repair? He could miss the entire season. These are all what-ifs. But we can't just throw them out as if they can't happen. There is cause for some concern. A full barn-burner? No, but the concerns are legitimate. And with our team's situation, we can't afford to consistently have these types of things happen. I think that's where a lot of the negatives are coming from. I see where they're coming from on this one.

GO JAGS!!

I'm surprised that the tape of the injury hasn't been shown, I believe with Fowler's ACL the tape was available either the same day or next.  The concern I have is that Ramsey was hurt during a no contact drill (via the CBA), as opposed to random contact with another receiver/defender.  I think the only assurance will be an MRI after the swelling has gone down to determine the seriousness of the injury.  I think it is very important for a rookie like Ramsey to get as much exposure to the defense in OTAs and more importantly training camp to get used to the communication and scheme of the Jags defense.

But this video reaction from a fan made it a little better.....

This needs it's own thread and a poll as to which yellow belly made it. I can think of about 5 or 6 likely people, and guarantee that they have posted in this thread.

My thoughts EXACTLY.

Early death will arrive for that goo ball. His heart is more likely to explode than a Jaguar player's knee.

Nah Bro, I workout and exercise. I don't have a fat face, triple chin, turkey neck. I'm not one of those sports nerds that watch shows like the NFL network top 100.

Who said someone was a fry cook? That'd be my guess

Can those bums.

Exactly if they couldn't have gotten him in good enough shape to prevent this in the week he has been here, what good are they anyways?
Too funny loved the video.  I truly feel his pain.

lol spot on
Quote:The injury is just bad timing and pure bad luck. Its actually not THAT bad in the sense, hes not missing games baring another set back, as in, he re injures it. The media ran with this because of Dante Fowler. They used to go getter words. First Round Pick. Jalen Ramsey. Knee Torn. BOOM. Now you have a story and clicks all day. Jalen had a small tear in a meniscus which in its worst cases, the player will be out 3  months. Jalen will probably be out for a month or two if you were asking me. He will probably miss camp or atleast the beginning, probably held out some pre season games but will be full go week 1.

Just bad timing because of what happened to Fowler.

I dunno it does raise questions about coaching or the physical trainers, or maybe the practice grounds themselves... i mean the odds of two first round picks having a knee injury back to back.. that has to be more than simply luck.. doesn't it?

Jalen Ramsey, Myles Jack and who would be injury #3 Blake Bortles for not improving the Oline at all during the offseason?

Fowler and Ramsay both got injured during EXTREMELY limited and slow practice. Basically warmups.

They both would have gotten injured no matter how slow they took practice. This has absolutely 0% to do with strength and conditioning coaches or whoever else low iq crew wants to blame.

I dunno it does raise eyebrows.. to any decent reporter... I'm sure more will come in out in the next week.

Hmmm.... Dante Fowler (University of Florida) and Jalen Ramsey (Florida State).  Both get injured in non-contact drills during their rookie season(s).  There must be some common denominator.  I wonder what exactly that could be?
