You don't have to feel any way about it. Just keep your facts straight because you will cause a panic among the hand wringers around here. That's never pretty.

I dont have to... but i feel really good about all this. it's clearly really swell around here.

I simply cannot wrap my head around how an nfl player can get injured. Such a rare anomaly.

Bonus points for the swell reference.

it is a little frsutrating when it happens in meaningless drills, but ya youre right
This does not seem to be worse than the Fowler injury. If we're going 1st round picks, Jalen Ramsey with a small meniscus tear in May is still better than a healthy Joeckel or Derrick Harvey in September.
If nothing else, can we all agree that not a single one of us is surprised by this?

Quote:Is it maybe time to look at the condition of our practice fields? I'm sure they are up to par, just thinking out loud.

They seem to be in excellent condition from as far as I have been permitted to walk out on them. And I assume the field for the indoor facility being built will be top of the line like everything else Khan touches.
Now the FO can low ball his injured [BLEEP] on that rookie contract.

a bag of chips is better than Joeckel or Harvey
To me, it's not the severity that's the problem. A minor meniscus tear isn't a big deal really, especially this time of year.

It's just the #becausejaguars nature of it

D. Fowler - no injury history, gets season-ending ACL tear in first practice

J. Ramsey - no injury history, gets 3-month miniscus tear in first warm-up

2017 First Round Pick - no injury history, breaks his leg walking up the stage at the draft

We need to sacrifice a virgin.

I hear one is available..

no need to go search outside of this board. plenty of virgins here i bet.
Quote:Ramsey had microfracture on same knee in high school.

Wait, what??? I was genuinely unaware of this. We drafted someone in the top 5 who has had microfracture surgery????
So how long is he actually going to be out? If it's not that bad he'll be back by camp, and the pre-season games start in August. Hopefully he'll be back for the 2nd or 3rd pre-season games at the latest.

Not in Jacksonville.

But you could always try to get Brklyn to come on down for a day. Banana

He'll never be the same

Was years ago in high school ,not a big deal I just hadn't heard of it till now.

I was unaware of it too, but the fear with microfracture surgery is that you may not ever be the same after the surgery. Since Ramsey played incredibly well for several years after the operation, it wouldn't really be of any concern.
