Quote:No whining, but keep pushing that agenda.
i didn't really see you whining there, just taking the less optimistic side of things.
Quote:Is there some concern about them signing?  With the rookie slotting, it's a non-event.  They'll get signed.
I haven't seen any one concerned.  I think he was just asking a question.
Quote:Fowler and Ramsay both got injured during EXTREMELY limited and slow practice. Basically warmups.

They both would have gotten injured no matter how slow they took practice
. This has absolutely 0% to do with strength and conditioning coaches or whoever else low iq crew wants to blame.

Honestly we don't even know if that's true or not. We aren't there to know. But for those trying to connect the dots to why this is happening again it's a better explanation than a curse. These guys go months doing private drills with teams, the combine, personal practice, so on and so forth. Then they get to Jax and their knees turn to cheese. Are they stretching properly? Are the drills too much too soon?

He has a habit of pushing that people are whining.

If the shoe fits...
Quote:Well, thanks for the prognosis, Doctor Depends.  When did the PT Barnum Clown College start issuing MD certificates from their Whiner School of Medicine?

The clown college is the Ringling school, just FYI. And with notable alumni like Penn Jillette and Steve-O, this guy wouldn't get a sniff.
Quote:Any new developments about Ramsey actually signing with the team?

According to NFL Network, he signed today.

What did i say that was wrong big shot?
Surgery likely but should be back before Green Bay per Shefter.
Quote:Like i said the whole thread, the team will look at long term and he will probably miss 4 to 6 months.

That's not how it works though. If it's a small tear that needs a clean up, they don't just go and do a meniscus repair for the hell of it.

They do the surgery that makes sense for the injury. The team just said they expect him ready for the opener. Right now, all accounts point to a small tear that needs nothing more than a scope.

If you get a cut on your arm they don't put you in a cast for 6 months just because.
@AdamSchefter Jalen Ramsey scheduled to meet Dr. Andrews this week. Surgery likely, but team believes, as of now, he'll be back before opener vs. Packers.
Im kind of hoping this injury will help the coaching staff make the best decision and put Ramsey at SS.  Would be best for the team and the injury imo.

How would putting him at SS be any different on his knee that corner?

He will be playing in the box around the los most snaps, not backpedaling every play and making hard cuts which would put more strain on the knee.

Your body of work exceeds the capacity of these message fields, fella.

I expect him to play all over the field. As of right now, he can't be designated a position because he has so much talent and versatility. He can play outside, nickel, both safety positions, and hell, probably even LB on passing downs. Eventually, he will be the #1 CB and will become one of the best at his position.

he doesn't understand those big words you are using.

I dont see it, I think by season end they will see where his strength is and put him at SS where he excels.
