OK...................................................
If my girlfriend had a dispute with another woman I'd let them settle it as grown adults however they please. I'd step in if someone was going to get hurt (as Dante did) but these people are adults and if they chose to fight then that's up to them.
Man people are attacking him like crazy on Instagram! Especially women!

People are just so ruthless sometimes. The name calling on his page is absolutely ridiculous and probably harsher than the tmz video.

And like others have said, sometimes a fight is going to happen no matter what.

Without audio, we have no idea what lead to it.

Its not even his wife. Maybe he was happy losing his gf over this. Maybe he broke up with her because she fought. Maybe she wasnt worth it to fight.

On top of that, we have no idea what has happened he previous weeks/months either to lead up to this.

He is not "some people on this board"

He is an NFL player who happens to be part of a group under a microscope for off the field violence. He had little to gain by jumping in and becoming involved in violence.

Maybe he decided he is above that kind of thing and refused to play a part in violence. Maybe he decided that he wants nothing to do with either of those people.

You don't know. I don't know.

What we both do know is that he refused to sink to physical violence and that should be commended. He should not be ostracized for that, which so many people are jerking their knees to do.

Ummm.... I don't think you're playing....
Respect dante for believing in his girls fade abilities. This is real love imo
If youre significant other is not ready at a moments notice to get it poppin theyre prob not worth it.

This.

I'm sure girlfriend is even a stretch. She is probably just some girl he keeps around because he enjoys getting action.

Fowler is a young NFL player. He can find another girl.
This is such a huge story that there is absolutely nothing about it on Jaguars.com.

This is clearly a headliner........

I'm laughed no at the dudes talking about he's a man and should have done something. This is supposed to be an equal society if two adult women want to fight then let them. If this were two men instead then there wouldn't even be a problem. People practice sexism without even realizing it. The real problem is people trying to say Fiwler should have controlled the situation because it's two women. FOH. I'd rather he stay out of it like he did and not risk himself or the women from getting hurt.
Quote:Impressive.

I agree with you guys though, he should probably be thrown in jail. 5 years minimum. What a horrible person.

If FBT is allowed to call people idiots for thinking Fowler should have broken up the fight, can I call you an idiot for this ridiculous strawman?

I am curious why you think the Jaguars or the NFL would promote this?

It is click bait news Perez Hilton is all over it haha
Quote:He didn't break up a fight that he wasn't involved in, ok. Doesn't look great, but really he didn't break any laws.
At face value, this appears to be the case.  But there are a lot of unknowns.

Where did this take place?  Did he know or have reason to know the mother would be there, or was this a random occurrence?  Did he take his girlfriend there knowing she intended to fight her (or knowing the mother intended the girlfriend bodily harm), or did this just flare up without any prior knowledge by him?  Did he actually provide transport to this scene, or was he a passenger who was along for the ride?

I'm sure had this turned into something more serious (i.e. the death of one of the participants), those would be some of the questions asked by investigators.

He may not have been "refereeing" as TMZ put it.  He may have been shocked all of this transpired in front of him before acting.

But taken at face value, I can't say he was guilty of a crime here.

We could be speculative about poor judgment (not intervening sooner, or perhaps bringing the two women in proximity to each other), but  without more information, it would be unfair to do so to

Let me preface this by saying that everybody that posts on the political forum can tell you I am ALL for equal rights in cases of fighting / self-defense.

That isn't what we see here so using that argument is a very unimpressive form of mental gymnastics. The girl in the elevator had no way out of the confrontation. We have no idea if she wanted to fight. She was cornered in an elevator and then attacked. I would most certainly have a problem with two people cornering a defenseless male in an elevator and then attacking him. Gender plays no role in this for me.

Problem with that logic is men are typically bigger and strong enough to diffuse a physical situation against the opposite sex. It's not being sexist, it's called being a responsible gentleman and making sure your girl or the mother of your child don't hurt each other.

I can't even find mention of it on PFT...  Is Fowler even that skinny?  Is that really him?
