Quote:Why talking about hurting himself in the fight ? This fight should have never start if he was a smart guy.

Oh, so you know what started the fight?

Go on tell us then. If you're going to say that he should have stopped the fight before it started, you surely know what started it and how it could have been defused.
Quote:Sorry friend, it's not nearly as minor as you want to make it to be.  I guess I think watching your baby's mother fight another woman and allowing it to happen is crazy.  That's really the two sides of this discussion.

If anyone here can willingly admit they would allow their baby's mother/wife/girlfriend to do what he did, then there is something wrong.

Love the part where you use the term "baby's mother" as an appeal to emotion.

They are two adults. There are no children present.
Quote:Being gouged in the eye and facial injuries are a real possibility when breaking up girl fights.

Why only to risk injury and the women continue to fight? When breaking up fights people use logic to avoid injury to themselves as well.

Im not going to suffer a eye or facial injury jumping in to break up a fight 3 seconds in. I wait until one of the females is on the ground so I can pull the other female off. Thats using common sense.

We can all sit here and play dumb if we want, or we can all be reasonable and use our judgment about what happened.

Because I would react different if it was my baby's mother/wife and if it were another woman.  it was his baby's mother/girlfriend and he sat there and let it happen.  This stuff you make up in your head is absolutely ridiculous.

We can all sit here and play smart if we want, or we can all be reasonable and realize that sometimes you can't stop a fight from happening, no matter what you do.
Quote:First off, why is he responsible for breaking up a fight? Because they're women? Uhhh, ok.  I keep trying to be upset about this, but I just can't.

What if he had gone in to be a peacemaker and the one not on his side slapped him in the face or punched him in the jewels, and then he back hands her or just pushes her away. Everyone would say, WHY DIDN'T HE JUST STAY OUT OF IT. He stayed out of it. He literally did nothing. It's not like someone was drowning, it was a fight between women. Women can fight and don't need a man to step in.

Uh no, that's really not how things work here. You see, all women need a man to tell them how a car works, and how to use a hammer, and most every other tool in a "normal" man's garage. Also, all cats are girls and all dogs are boys. Pink is every girl's favorite color and Romantic Comedies always solve any problem a woman has.

I think you might need to align yourself with how the world works.

[/sarcasm] <------   I really felt the need to put that in there before Bunnie reads this and beats the [STUPIDLY BAD WORD REMOVED] out of me.
Awkward situation for DFJ.. But I can see both points of view. Part of me wanted him to de-escalate the whole thing as much as possible by inserting himself in between the two women preventing any conflict. That would've shown his character in a good light. It seemed like he was trying to control the situation verbally but who knows what was said/done for him to just step back and let things unfold the way they did

Hopefully nothing serious comes of this because when its all said and done he technically did nothing wrong but people will question his morale after this incident.

IMO he's a soon to be multi millionaire, time to stop associating with these ratchet [BLEEP] hoes that are prone to drama like this. I understand he can't disassociate himself completely from the mother of his child but his gf could've handled herself better.. then again even ghandi could snap depending on circumstances

I'm glad he didn't end up tangled up in the mix and 'accidentally' hit someone though, that would be a way worse situation

This board has a short memory. Remember the MJD incident/fight in St Augie???? Nothing happened other than money exchanged allegedly. If that didn't get anywhere this surely won't. Nothing to see here but bad decisions all around. Move along now folks.
Quote:And falling on your face riding a hoverboard can't happen. Gotcha. Just place him in bubble wrap.

Never said it cant happen. But you keep dismissing the fact that he can possibly suffer a face/eye injury

Nah, let's go with UFC Knight's "outraged, moral high ground" method.
Laughing at the "he could have gotten injured breaking up 2 girls fighting" arguments.  The blind homerism is reaching new proportions!

Yes, how dare I not want them to fight!  I'm so righteous!!!!

I mean we're talking about elbows and eye gouging....seriously.

I'm sure at 21 years of age you were the ultimate paragon of decision-making and morality.

And you dismissing that as a part of a potential injury leading to how Fowler handled the altercation is part of the overreaction.

Clearly you've never seen a cat fight. Your idea must be something like this:

Where Dante and these lovely ladies grew up, you probably squash all your differences like this. Someone talks about you, you duke it out. He's just doing things the way he was brought up.

Same thing with AP. He was taught that the best way to learn a lesson was from a whoopin. For Dante, if you have beef, you fight it out.

It's not ideal at all but he probably didn't think anything of it because its normal to him. To the rest of America, who don't go around fighting out there problems, this is a big deal.

Yes, yes I am.

I can assure you that at 21 years of age I never would have been in a similar situation to what he was in....or even close to it.

We know. You'd be home reading Bible passages, being the morally superior person you are.
