Dante is the Michael Vick of baby momma fights.

I'm not saying he has a fetish for it but he regularly gets big ol women to fight in his garden every night at midnight under flood lights.

Dude!!!...what the hell? The FIRST rule of baby momma fight club is you don't talk about baby momma fight club!! Damn man. I'm sorry, but you're out.

Quote:More pathetic hypocrisy. Speculating is pointless, yet this entire thread is filled with people speculating and assuming that the victim of the attack chose to and agreed to fight.

What you meant to say is that speculating is okay but only if it fits your agenda.

I don't have an agenda.  I have an opinion, which I shared... but there's nothing more than that.

As for "speculating" that they decided to throw down... well, you're grasping a bit, but whatever.  Video shows "new" chick kicks her shoes off and advances, and the "baby mama" immediately meets her and they proceed to throw down.

I'm not sure what "speculation" you are going for here outside of trying to assert that I'm claiming they drafted up an agreement to participate in said "throw down" prior to engaging.

Chick A and B were arguing.  Chick A advanced.  Chick B did not  back down.

They agreed to throw down.
I don't think anyone has a moral obligation to do anything.

Who is to tell me what is truly morally right.

Morals are within oneself.

And if you want to judge a man because he didn't do what you would have done... well, congratulations on thinking humans should all be the same mindless twit you are.

This whole thing is ridiculous. To the point that half of John O's O-Zone was still talking about it.

He should have done this or that? SAYS WHO?

You? Mr (Or Mrs.) Moral Counselor to the World?

Get off your soapbox(es).

Your scenario may be correct, but lets think about this....you and I are arguing, and I start coming at you to punch you in the face.  Are you just going to stand there and let me punch you, or are you going to come at me and defend yourself?

I think that is his point as far as speculation.  The girl may have wanted to fight her, but she may have also had no choice but to react and fight back.  Whenever I've been in a fight I've never once thrown the punch first, I've always reacted to it and my first reaction isn't to stand there or back up...its to go forward and throw back (It's been a LONG time since I've been in a fight....I'm too old for that stuff now)

To me, the line is drawn at "Fight" vs "Assault".

I've definitely seen a number of people who just immediately turtled and tried to not get beat up.  They obviously didn't "agree".

The moment you stand your ground, in my definition, you're agreeing to the encounter.  You many not have WANTED the encounter, but you've made the decision that you're going to be an active participant in it.

Also, considering as it continues, she eventually ends up on top of "New Chick" and is continuing to throw punches/slaps/etc, she's no longer defending herself, but actively attacking.

Not that there's anything wrong w/ that.  I'm w/ you... I'm too old for that stuff now... but when I was younger, sometimes you just had to fight it out.  Definitely been in a few of those, where afterwards everything's fine.. points were made, and the issue was squashed.

Ultimately, it's all semantics.  Neither of them appeared to actively attempt to "avoid" the confrontation.  "New Chick" may have thrown first, but "Baby Mama" seemed just fine that it came to blows (and frankly, got the better end of it lol).

The brief glimpse we get of the woman in black before the fight, she appears scared with a slightly bunched back. I'm no body language expert but it doesn't appear she was interested in fighting.

And no, someone acting in self defense doesn't bear the fault of the aggressor / attacker.

Everyone is speculating at this point. There are very little concrete facts out there. No one knows what led up to this in the prior weeks or months.
Considering how hard the league is on domestic violence and the fact that Fowler is recovering from a torn knee ligament I don't blame him for not getting involved.

She was certainly not the aggressor in the beginning (clearly evidenced by the fact that "new chick" advanced and threw first) but the moment she mounted her, she was definitely on the attack.

Ultimately... it's not worth worrying about...

I feel dirty to have contributed to the 26 pages this mess has become.

My baby momma miss me but she glad I'm gone.
Dave Caldwell: the league is looking at the Fowler incident. #jaguars

I think we made that clear Captain Obvious.
This is the post that doesn't end,

Yes it goes on and on my friend,

Some people starting judging,

Not really knowing what it was,

And they'll continue juding it forever just because,

Nothing of substance to provide?

Dave Caldwell just commented about the incident at the combine that the NFL is looking into it. Is it that shocking?
Quote:Where is your cynicism/lack of imagination?!?  :teehee:

In my mind, the worst case scenario is that he is truly [BAD WORD REMOVED] at his ex and he wanted to do her harm, but understands given his position, he can't, so he gets his current girlfriend to do it for him, so they both plot to go to the ex's apartment or where they know she will be, the girlfriend fights the ex, but he intervenes to make sure stuff doesn't get out of hand.  No felony battery (or worse)...then no aiding and abetting the felony/accessory charges for him.

Worst Case scenario:

Dante Fowler is an ISIS recruit getting these women to fight over each other to decide who gets to help him suicide bomb Ever Bank Field.  This isn't found out in time for training camp, and the NFL has to decide what to do with what was once the Jaguars Football team.

Yet people are still throwing out what they think they know based on a clip.
