Quote:I've been one of his biggest advocates this season.
I've seen the positives, but frankly I feel it is to the point that the turnovers are outweighing that. He literally threw the ball right to Te'o. It's killing this team.
BB5 is a product of some really bad coaching, especially at the HC spot.
Get a better HC in here, especially one that won't get out-coached as bad as Gus, and then we will see if BB5 has what it takes to lead the Jags into the playoffs.
We won't really know until that happens.
Gus has proven over and over again what he is and that is a losing HC with a terrible W/L record.
Quote:The hate on Blake is idiotic. People who don't know football love to kick a qb when the team loses.
Normally I would agree but it has become warranted criticism. He seems to have noticeably regressed.
Quote:Why did we hire Greg Olsen? He's awful. The raiders fired him.
You're full of trolling today aren't you?
Olsen wasn't fired...
What a garbage throw... Blake haters are dumber than dirt.
We lose by a TD. Bortles throws a pick before halftime giving the Chargers a TD. This loss falls on his shoulders.

Or the defense for giving up 300 and 4 TDs with zero pass rush to a team riddled with injuries?

This loss goes on him and not the defense that couldn't cover you going out for a pass. Brilliant!

Not on the defense that bends more than a rubber band?

I'd say defense aided by the fact the offense couldn't get it done in the red zone. The INT didn't help but certainly wasn't the cause of why we lost.

The D is playing the scheme they are told to. No one asked Bortles to throw to Teo's girlfriend.

How many turnovers did the Jags D get this game?....how many pressures, sacks, passes defended? Got it.
The mistakes are killers... happening at the worst possible times and results in blows that the Jags have had a hard time to recover from

Let's not act like Rivers is some scrub. Take away the pick and we most likely win in spite of Rivers doing what Rivers does well.

Ah yes.... One bad throw means we lose. Got it.
Blake wasn't great today but the defense was gashed by Rivers and Gates. Guess what? WE ALL KNEW HE WOULD THROW TO HIM.
How in the world can you not defend that?

I'd say the defense is mainly responsible, but that is why for me it seems disingenuous to defend Bortles mistakes. We know what we have with the defense. We can't afford to turn the ball over. We simply can't. And it's troubling that Bortles can't seem to learn from these throws. These picks aren't deep balls gone awry. They've been throws underneath for the most part that have been stared down and easily jumped.

Or it falls on a defense that allowed Rivers to scamper for 8 yards on a 4th & 7.
