Quote:Just for the record, I do not believe that Nick Marshall will win the starting strong side CB job from Davon House.
I do believe that it is possible within the next two years that Nick Marshall could be vying for starter status.
If that happens, who knows what else may also happen.
I like what I am seeing from Nick Marshall and that is all I am saying.
That was my point as well. I'm not saying marshall is going to be Earl Thomas day one. But as you said (i'm not in camp so i can't see), he's 6'1 200 not afraid to come up, closes with great burst and great feet. His QB background gives him experience in knowing zones and where QBs where to go (something former QB turned S have said before).
You add all that up and that's an ideal single high FS
^^^ Haha adrenaline pinching.
Parnell is a large, large human
Quote:I'll be happy if we can lose within 10 in any of the big time teams like the Colts.
Sorry BigJag, but this thought process irks me to no end. Colts, a team of men like Jags. Going in to a game against them and being happy to lose by a small margin is painfully defeatist, especially from fans. Imagine if players feel this way! What's the purpose of sports if not the unknown outcome? We've beaten them with Manning, we slaughtered them the year they became Champs etc. That's why you play the game...
Blake threw an INT. Just cancel the season now, total bust.

I'll be returning his jersey today
Quote:Houston, especially if Clowney returns healthy, can have a potentially dominant defense. But with no QB, and if Foster is out, they have no credible running attack. Hopkins is a good young WR, but outside of him, I don't know if they have anyone that really scares teams. I think with some improvement from our offense, we may be able to steal a game from them.
You mean, we should be able to split the series. We swept them in year 1 of rebuild, with a shell of a team. I'm not sure a win vs. your division rival, a team with some potentially glaring holes, is a steal. It should be expected, but that's me.

@mike_e_kaye: Aaron Colvin with the near pick of Blake Bortles. Dove for it and it bounced out. He's shining.
@mike_e_kaye: Josh Evans with great coverage breaks up a Henne pass to Clay Harbor.

Not good for Luke J
Michael DiRocco:
DE Ryan Davis just destroyed LT Luke Joeckel in one-on-one. Beat him with bull rush.

It's rare for a guy to be that big, strong and athletic, his skill set reminds me of Jason Peters (I know Peters is a LT) but they are similar athletes. Parnell has the skillet to be one if the top RT's in football.
