Quote:How much do you believe the Analytics we've employed has made a difference in our recent drafting? Doesn't it appear we've been able to select players that weren't necessarily off the radar (no school of mines players), but players such as Linder who wasn't a high round prospect that's ended up being a stud.
I find it interesting that since Dave has been here and Tony Kahn being in charge of the analytics, we've begun to strike it rich with these lower round players.
I think the analytics are a tool but not a driving factor. Tony Khan did tweet out #analytics in reference to Corey Grant's kick return during the scrimmage though.
Mostly, I just think Caldwell is a good GM.

@mike_e_kaye: Jacksonville Jaguars Mailbag: How much will Yeldon contribute? STORY: http://t.co/iOgW8LunWX http://t.co/a0rY83Gs7b

@mike_e_kaye if you had to bet on it who has the best year Teddy, Blake , or Derek Carr
5:30 PM - 9 Aug 2015
Answer: I think there are a lot of different ways we can look at the most successful year. I think all three quarterbacks will improve their teams' records and their own individual statistics. I think Bridgewater wins the most games because of the return of Adrian Peterson and what the second year passer showed as a rookie, especially down the stretch. I think Bortles is in line for the best statistical season based on his command of the redzone during training camp and his upgraded weapons on the roster. I also think Bortles and Greg Olson have clicked and I think this offense fits Bortles' strengths a lot more. I could easily see Bortles having a 2.5:1 touchdown to interception ratio this season if he takes the next step. Carr, I think, will probably win the least amount of games and probably the worst statistics of the three, that said, he will probably have worst weapons and defense to accompany his journey this year.

Amari and Crabtree vs AR15 and JT80. It's good that we have targets that can compete with the 'bigger names'.

Nice. Good to see Sergio Brown in mop up mode. Lewis would have had to make the run of his life to juke Cyprien (which he did), then juke POZ and a waiting Sergio to get to the endzone.

FWIW, if they were going to the ground, I'm 91% sure Cyp would've had him.
But maybe that's just me.
