Hope not.

While this really sucks and we are a super cursed team. We did draft a bunch of other talented players and do have a Leo to fill his roll. I'd rather hear this about Fowler than about Blake. Not saying it's not an issue, but at least its a player on our strongest unit. Here's to hoping its nothing major.
Quote:  Another RB who ended up tearing his ACL, who seemed to have a similar experience as Todd Gurley, also had a state of Georgia connection.  Back in week # 2 in 1999 on MNF,  then Falcons RB Jamal Anderson walked off the field after a play in a manner that looked routine to me when watching the game on TV.    I was shocked that Jamal Anderson ended up with a torn ACL.   The possibility at the time never occurred to me.
Tony Boselli did the same thing when he blew out his knee.  He walked off the field and on to the IR.

We shall see.  Either way, it's not the end of the season for this team.

I don't disagree.
I can't freaking believe it... Wallbash

I hear ya. I still have 2.5 hours here and I have a feeling it's going to consist of refreshing this board page....

GO JAGS!!
Quote:So, the success or failure of this team in 2015 is on Fowler, and nothing else?

I think I'll stick with the "too cool for school" crowd since clearly I see it very differently from you.  Meanwhile, you are now a charter member of the "Chicken Little" crowd.
Wow.  I'm sad now.  Your words have so much impact on me.  I may not be able to sleep tonight.

Nobody is saying he would have won a Super Bowl for us this year.  I'm saying it's just another piece of bad luck on the huge bad luck pile that has been accumulating for Jag fans the last few years.  We're tired of it.  And IF it is a serious injury, this adds to that pile and the bull we've had to endure.

I understand your need to poo-poo everybody else's opinion and feelings on every subject, and assign people to your imaginery categories. Severely insecure people often do this, so continue to do so if it helps.  However, there are ways to express your opinion without trying to belittle and admonish everybody else on the board.  Look into it.

This,  along with what you expressed a few minutes ago about the experienced P.T. person not even being able to tell,  is why I'm not even going to remotely offer an opinion about the type of injury and the extent of the injury to Dante Fowler Jr.

The good news under the circumstance of uncertainty is the Jaguars have highly qualified medical and training people that can assess the situation and decide if Fowler should visit Dr. James Andrews or another expert in the field.
Could of had a V8

Hey, you're more than welcome to curl up in the fetal position and declare the team cursed.  There are more than 80 other guys on the roster ready to contribute.  I guess they should all phone it in and let's get ready for 2016.

Thanks for the dime store analysis.  You really get me. Those who actually know me from this board are laughing at your determination, but that's okay.

Quote:Branch isn't a high priced free-agent-to-be who isn't part of their plans moving forward.  Monroe was.

And if someone offers a 6th for Branch, we wouldn't do it?

We'd take a 5th rounder for a solid starting LT (because he's not part of our plans moving forward), but we shouldn't trade a unspectacular depth player (because he's part of our plans moving forward)?

Take the day off. This is a day of mourning and suicidal contemplation.
Prayers for Fowler. Real unfortunate.
Trade for the disgruntled Bruce Irvin!  LOL

Quote:All of the Knee Jerk reactions are ridiculous, you don't even know if it's a bad injury yet.

Too soon?

<p class="" style="color:rgb(41,47,51);font-family:'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">.<a class="" href='https://twitter.com/Jaguars'>@Jaguars</a> say no info yet on DANTE FOWLER. Hopefully that is good news. Usually ACL tear known by team immediately. No MRI needed, exam.

I doubt it, especially now that our #1 LEO is having his leg amputated.
