It blows but the season is not over. Ultimately, improvements on offense are far more likely to effect this upcoming season than anything Fowler was going to do. 

 

Hope the kid comes back to full health next year and ready to play.

I'm sorry. Kampman tore his ACL and was never the same...

As some said already, being out for the season is just one problem.  That puts his development, assuming he is 100%, one year behind where he should be.  If he is not able to bunce back 100%, his career could be short lived also.  I real bummer for a team trying to become relevant again.

This is the nightmare we live in.

 

I had just spent the week thinking of possible matchup advantages Fowler could have given us this year.

 

I was just thinking (beyond all rational hope) that if Brady were somehow suspended for the first three games, we stood a pretty decent chance to start 3-0.

 

The key to the Jaguars improvement was going to be the improvement in the offense.

 

But Fowler was going to make it a little easier.

This team just sucks at getting players in the 1st round.  They either suck, injured, or just quit.  I think the last #1 pick that become a great player for us was John Henderson.   I Think Weaver sold the Jaguars soul.   Once the team starts to look promising something always happens.

 

The sad part is this was his very first practice against scrubs and he gets this hurt.  Just pathetic.

Yes, but those memories are still there no matter who the GM is.  That is an unbelievable run on 1st rounders.

As a Titan fan I know you guys could care less what I have to say, but I truly wanted to say I'm sorry this happened to you guys and it sucks monkey balls.   To be fair though, defense was not exactly a weakness for you guys last year.   You even brought in more guys besides Fowler to improve it even more.  Keep your heads up for this year, I think you will be much better.

 

Bortles should be greatly improved this year so your offense should get closer to catching your defense.
