That could all depend on what you're into. Or what's in you.

I'll see myself out.

TMI bra...
There are whispers that we could get in trouble for this because during phase 2 of the offseason program, 11 on 11 isn't permitted.

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-foot...l-32-teams

From the article:

"Here are the offseason guidelines from the NFL:

Phase One consists of the first two weeks of the program with activities limited to strength and conditioning and physical rehabilitation only.

Phase Two consists of the next three weeks of the program. On-field workouts may include individual player instruction and drills as well as team practice conducted on a "separates" basis. No live contact or team offense vs. team defense drills are permitted.

Phase Three consists of the next four weeks of the program. Teams may conduct a total of 10 days of organized team practice activity, or "OTAs." No live contact is permitted, but 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills are permitted."

JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

First Day: April 20

OTA Offseason Workouts: May 26-28, June 1-2, June 4, June 8-9, June 11-12

Mandatory Minicamp: June 16-18

If this schedule is correct the Jags would be in the middle of Week 3, as their start date was April 20. That would put them in Phase 2.

Directly from article 21 of the CBA:

Quote:Phase Two. Phase Two shall consist of the next three weeks of the Club’s offseason workout program. Subject to the additional rules set forth in Section 5 of this Article, during Phase Two all coaches shall be allowed on the field. On-field workouts may include individual player instruction and drills, as well as “perfect play” drills (e.g., offense or defense only, but not offense vs. defense), or special teams drills on a “separates” basis (e.g.., kicking team or return team only, but not kicking team vs. return team). No live contact or team offense vs. team defense drills are permitted. No offense vs. defense drills are permitted (e.g.., no one-on-one offensive linemen vs. defensive linemen pass rush or pass protection drills, no wide receivers vs. defensive backs bumpand-run drills, and no one-on-one special teams drills involving both offense and defense are permitted.) Players cannot wear helmets during Phase Two.

So is this considered "cheating"?

Guys, why the panic??  I've seen players go down like this all the time.  It's definitely turf toe.

If you look closely at the video you can see his toe being in contact with the turf prior to going down.

The CBA says otherwise. I'm curious where he got his info from.
Sounds like Seahawks.

Not sure how (or even if) our situation applies.

But there is the Seahawk connection.

Not sure, but perhaps because this is a rookie camp teams are allowed to use these drills.

You really think the Jags would hold a rookie minicamp available for media and public and do something illegal?

Like come on...if it was than we'd already be hearing about it with Fowler getting hurt and the video being published on ESPN, NFLN, etc.

This pretty much sums it up. Mother of Pearl! The sum of all fears

That article specifically mentions excessive contact for veteran players. That phrasing makes me believe rookie camps like this are excluded from that. Also the dates mentioned in monoxide's post don't include today's practices.

Pretty sure anyway.
I don't think so. You are probably thinking of the AC joint.

Pause the video at 2 sec.  When his leg plants, then bends straight inward significantly.

I know you can't be sure from this, BUT, sorry it LOOKS like an ACL tear to me from others I've seen in game replays (Navaro Bowman comes to mind).

Rarely when you saw that kind of leg movement did you hear later that is was "just a sprain" or something to that effect.

It could be a sprain, but it does not look good.

The "L" is just for show anyway

Already there. I'm the red splat on top of the landing.
Maybe it's just a stomach ache. Y'all ever had gas so hard it brings you to your knees

NFL Media columnist Michael Silver, who was embedded with the Jaguars during the draft's first round, said that Jacksonville general manager David Caldwell texted him "brutal" in regard to Fowler's injury. Silver added that "early indications are it doesn't look good."
