Good lord, can we ever catch a break.... Hope he ends up with a sprain or a slight tweek. The video didn't look good though, I'll be honest.. If he's out for the year, we really have the worst luck... Hoping for the best!

GO JAGS!!
Quote:not sure what "mini-camp" is for anyway. waste of time and risk of injury
Opportunity to get the rookies in the stadium to start working with the coaches, get their play books, and begin the process of being professional football players on and off the field.
Quote:We should all just run to the Wells Fargo tower and leap because clearly his career is over.
This board is loaded with drama queens.
If it's an ACL, so be it. If it's just a typical knee sprain, which would look very much the same as what I saw in the video, he's got plenty of time to recover before training camp. Either way, we should panic like the world is coming to an end while we don't know anything. That seems to be the most logical approach.
I'm having a good chuckle about the folks wanting to trade Branch because we've got this mythical log jam at LEO. It's precisely this type of thing that can happen that suddenly clears that log jam.
The draft was just a week ago and our #3 pick goes down holding his knee on the first day of rookie camp.
What kind of reaction do you expect?
Jags should just trade every first round pick.
Quote:Never draft another Gator.
The final step in the logical progression. Let's just cut him now. amirite?
Some of you are born losers. Please, leap off the Modis and spare us your epic handwringing, you are pathetic. It's May 8th.
Does this buy Gus and crew another year no matter what?
Quote:So what makes this different to us trading Eugene?
Branch isn't a high priced free-agent-to-be who isn't part of their plans moving forward. Monroe was.
Fowler's rookie year begins 2016 on a bumknee. Joeckel anyone? Fowler won't have a fair shot til 2017

Gosh. I don't know. Perhaps a wait and see mindset?

Oh, we have a winner here

You are SO right..
No, nobody should be upset or bummed out at all because our 1st round pick may have a knee injury on his first step, of his first pass rush of first day of mini-camp. Oh just another day in the life of a Jaguar fan. No big deal, right?
I mean all the first round busts, free agent busts, Aaron Kampman's knees, Torrey Holt's knees. Nothing to worry about. Just over-reaction by everybody because they are not as smart as FBT.

Are you crazy?
He will never be the same

We keep him. Just forget UF as a candidate in drafting prospects in the future. Been nothing but bad luck for us.

You are most def one of the born to lose set. Enjoy that life, friend
Quote:Gosh. I don't know. Perhaps a wait and see mindset?
We are all waiting to see. You can still say that this sucks for him to be carted off the field in his first practice. It's what a normal person feels.
Nobody here has cancelled their season tickets.

Is that your expert medical opinion? What if it turns out to be an MCL? And since when have ACL injuries become career ending? This isn't 1999.
