Nice job showing the only 2 plays in the whole game where he had time. My guess is that those two plays are the long bomb hurns dropped and the Lewis TD?

Quote:The old saying if you got a hand on it you shouldve caught it, but a few passes that were dropped Henne didnt lead the receiver correctly if you go back and watch the tape... WRs had to wait or come back for balls...Hurns catches that ball.... game completely changes.
Quote:its' mostly on Fisch and on Gerhart and Henne.

Showing 2 pictures of a good pocket proves nothing. A blind squirrel finds a nut every once and while.

Quote:look at all the time Henne has....there isnt a receiver in sight because thats how much time he has hadYou can see the Center #66 Jacques McClendon helping RG Rookie Brandon Linder #65, but what is LG #68 Zane Beadles doing on this play? RT #78 Cam Bradfield is doing a great job on this play.
Quote:They just read the breakdown of the game that Profootballfocus.com did on 1010XL, and here's how PFF broke down responsibility for the stacks, hits, and hurries:
Joeckel: 1 sack, 1 hit, 1 hurry
McClendon: 1 sack, 1 hit, 1 hurry
Beadles: 1 sack, 1 hurry
Henne: 2 sacks
Bradfield: 3 sacks, 1 hit, 2 hurries
Linder: 3 sacks
Young: 1 hurry
Bowanko: 1 hit
They listed this as 11 sacks, but I think they probably gave a shared sack to two guys in here somewhere. Still, the way they broke it down, they put 2 on Henne.

Quote:Interesting. I'm not really familiar with the concept - is it around average for them to fault the QB for 20% of the sacks?I haven't analyzed all of their stats to know how they average QB fault for sacks. I'm simply posting what they provided for this game.

Quote:the first picture is a big ol hole that Gerhart missed. i remember yelling at him from my couch. If you bothered to show the actual video clip of this play, you'd have to adjust your argument significantly. The line folded like a cheap tent on a shotgun snap with a 4 step drop.
the second picture, i dont know if it was a sack play, but it shows that all the ills arent the OL. And just from watching the game, any honest observer would know that most of the sacks were a result of Henne.

Thinking Bortles is the answer at this point, imo, is naive at best. Im actually afraid to put him in, turn him into the next Carr, Leaf, Harrington, etc. All great prospects who got thrown in early and the pressure/stress/need to win got to them. There is no consistency, talent on this team to help develop him. Coaches know this. MB coaches dont
