man you are jusr chalked full of useful insights huh?
Bortles has a 0% win percentage since being drafted...........BUST!

Quote:Yeah, let's just ignore that they completely blew the roster up last year and focused on unloading as much of the dead wood as they could knowing it was going to be a difficult year, but that it was the best approach to moving on from all sorts of failed personnel decisions.

It's people like you that really missed the boat when logic was being distributed.
WHen you blow something up you try to rebuild a better version.  Bortles is not the foundation that you want to begin with.

Yeah, taking one of the top QBs in the draft this year is really a silly way to move forward with the rebuilding process.  We should have just drafted a receiver and grabbed Garoppolo, or better yet, just moved forward with Henne.  That would have been a better approach.
Quote:So I nailed it where you're concerned.

The guys running the front office wouldn't hire you to mow their lawn.
WHo else would hire them to run a team.  Same lines you used for Gene.  What team does he work for again.  Remember how wel respected around the league he was
I suggest mtwonjag find himself another team, given his disappointment with the Jaguars.  I remember last year a Jags fan who abandoned ship for the Texans.  It was just before the Jags won their first game.  Funny enough, he didn't get to see his team win a game all year.

Same as our success percentage since we won our bidding war for Caldwell and Bradey.  Oh wait

Posts like this are really putting you on a rocket to the top of the biggest buffoon list on this board.  Seriously.
Quote:"Under this regime"?  You make it sound like you've seen the results of more than a single year on the field.  The only thing we have to judge is that they doubled the wins over Mularkey/Smith.  Let's see if there is improvement from year one to year two before calling them wrong.  Geez.
Thats when you are bad when you celebrte being POSSIBLY better thatn Mularkey and Smith.

One of the top relative to what.  You said Gabbert was one of the top qbs.  ALualu was a top dt.  The 3rd round punter was one of the top.  Rod Issac was a tough physical corner according to you that we needed.  So good we picked him over Sherman.

Why because we got two well respected highly sought after guys that winning franchises were fighting to get that came in a took the Jags to new heights and drafted a hell of  player at #3

I know you were attempting to be sarcastic here, but you actually swerved into fact here.  Both Caldwell and Bradley were very highly regarded around the league, and Bradley was pursued by Philly when the Jaguars hired him as their head coach.  I know facts don't really mean anything to you because they just confuse you, but the Jaguars have gotten significant good press about both the GM and head coach.  Only idiots such as yourself are incapable of seeing this.

242 posts.... You're on fire brotha! Keep it up and you just might be the most hated man on the board.

Please go back and show one quote where I ever said anything of the sort about Alualu.  I'll wait.  I know you won't be able to produce one because it never happened, but feel free to keep spinning that lie.  As far as Gabbert is concerned, yeah, I'm the only person on the planet who had him rated as one of the top rated QBs in the draft.  Nobody else did that, right?

This is where being an idiot really undermines you.

Regardless, Bortles was consistently rated as one of the 3 top tier QBs in the draft by pretty much EVERY outlet.  Some had him mocked to go first in the draft, and there was absolutely discussion in Houston about going that direction.

Seriously, as I read your posts, I'm fairly certain your head is planted firmly in a bodily orifice,

It's called improvement. Why are you so against the team improving? They doubled the win total in year one and may double the win total in year two and you're calling for their heads.

Fixed that for you.

Already earned him a trip to the ignore list.  Life's too short for this kind of hater.

It's not instant turnaround.  They must suck.  Everyone knows in Madden you can rebuild a team in about an hour.

Lucky you.  We can't ignore him.
Actually threads like this and the fire Caldwell thread is what makes us the laughing stock of the league.
