Quote:Anyone who thinks the Bills could have hired Tom Coughlin today has a big problem. They have to talk to him before even thinking if they want him.
Anyone who thinks the Bills couldn't talk to him already is a JDub.

Quote:I look at Caldwell and see tens of millions of dollars wasted on blown free agents, 4 consecutive top 5 picks, 75 percent of which have looked like busts for the most part. No GM ever selected in the top 5 five years running, yet here we are, led by everybody's damn golden boy. What? You must be smoking stuff. Caldwell and not even close. We can go pick for pick if you like.
Shack Harris was a better GM than Caldwell. Not by much, but he was better.

I don't care for popular opinions. Facts don't care for feelings.
Quote:This means nothing. He could rejoin, or he could not. He could be head coach, or he could not. Possible be VP of football operation, or possibly not. He could be OC or he could not. SMHI dont think Charles Robinson said that out of thin air. He's probably heard TC wants to coach but if that doesn't happen than he'd be open to joining the organization in the front office.

Quote:Everything I read about Tom Coughlin is he wants to coach again. Not "coach or front office." Not "front office if I can't be a coach." Just "I want to keep coaching." Until NFL.com reports he is open to an executive position, any such rumor is total nonsense - especially if it comes from Twitter.NFL.com?

Quote:Does anyone remember how putrid Eli Manning was before Couglin and co got there? I do.Manning was traded to the giants after coughlin got there
Then I think of Blake. This should be a no-brainer.
Quote:I will never get how people think a 71 year old can be a successful nfl head coach. He has not done squat in going on 5 years. And yes he won two superbowls but one was by luck. Had tyree not caught the ball with his helmit. Giants would of not won one of them. I respect Tom and did an awesome job here. But I also was a teen at the time not 37.The Mario Manningham catch was pretty miraculous too. Obviously a lot of teams won super bowls with miracle plays like the Tyree and Manningham plays though.
The guy will be 71 years old. That factor has to come into play.
