I have zero doubts that if he plays Thursday, he will play hard.
Completely agree
The fan reaction will be interesting to see though

So basically if Ramsey makes it to play Thursday as a Jag, Marrone will probably be gone by the weekend.

I think it will be like it is on here. Split pretty 50-50. Boo'd and cheered?

I thought Tyler was his girl...
If we trade Ramsey in place of getting marrone, I’m not sure I can bear to follow this franchise anymore, just constant bad front office decisions. Clean house with the coaching and I’d include TC in that.
Players are taking a silent mutiny by siding with Ramsey over the coaching staff. Could very well continue to get uglier here very quickly.
That's never a good thing nor a good look. There's no winning in this situation now. It truly sets a terrible precedent for the next GM and HC.
Khan has to clean house. Marrone, out. Caldwell, out. Coughlin, out. Ramsey and anybody else who wants to follow him, out.
The NFL is beginning to turn into the NBA now. [BLEEP] disgusting.

I saw this definition of an"Immature Person" ...does it describe Ramsey or the coach? Just asking.
"Immature people think that they’re different. They absolutely love the idea of being special. It gives them an excuse to elevate their own self-esteem. They have a sense of entitlement whether it’s through their skillset, talents, appearance, privileges or personalities."
(09-17-2019, 01:18 PM)Jags239 Wrote: [ -> ]So Myles Jack & other players came in the press conference and supported Jalen. So even if Ramsey is gone there's still going to be a major rift, and 1 is a player you literally just signed. Trading Ramsey isn't gonna fix it, sounds like your gonna have to trade half the team or get rid of Marrone.

Ramsey is a pure competitor. He may act spoiled but he brings it game day.
I don’t believe Marrone will he gone. But if he is, who takes his place?

How do these guys not see that Ramsey wants to win? He cannot stand losing.
Yep both are wrong. The issue is no one is holding the coaches accountable. I end up on Jalen's side because of that.
I can understand that. I simply don't feel or see any need to choose sides.
I want the Jags to find ways to win. I realize that probably means some staff changes eventually and I'm good with that. But I also wish we could keep our best cornerback around until that happens and I think he's handling this poorly.
I’d normally agree but I think the leverage he’s trying to manufacture (I.e. making the situation untenable with the organization and the fans) is out of bounds. At least for me it is. His press conference today was a joke.

Not Wash.
My guess is Flip.

The thing is, players will always have a special bond, they are teammates and play a physically demanding sport. They spend months together at camp, practice, travelling, they form a bond.
And coaches, like bosses, will always be the guy above. Hes the guy making you run all camp, hes yelling at you at practice.
Now I'm not criticizing Marrone for being a coach, I'm just saying that players will fight and protect each other, especially if it's a popular member of they think they are being treated harshly.

It doesn't matter much. TC could do it or there are plenty of options out there.

If Marrone is fired. Probably Wash takes over in the interim.

Barring some totally unexpected playoff run, I'd be stunned if he is here next year. He, along with the entire front office, was on thin ice going into this season. And this year is now officially a train wreck. I'd be stunned if Khan doesnt clean house.

Ramsey trade for 2 first round picks
Yannick trade for 1st round pick
Jack trade for 2nd round pick
Fournette for a 3rd round pick
Tanking get #1 overall pick
4 first round picks and an extra 2nd and 3rd. We gonna be good in no time.
He is disrespectful as hell with the f bombs and the cussing in the interview

Yep. Apparently Myles Jack was in the press conference. We shouldn't have given him a big deal. This just keeps getting worse.
