Play him til he breaks or until you get an offer you want.
We own his rights for 2 more years.
I agree. I'm playing him until we get the right offer. Show teams we are serious about the price. We're not giving him away.
THIS.
Ramsey has said while he's here he's gonna ball. So test him on it.
Play him without worrying about risking injury to trade capital.
If we start winning some games... who knows... maybe water under the bridge and/or some changes happen in the offseason instead of derailing a season that isn't quite off the tracks yet.
And if we lose tonight (and maybe one more week) then we can really start taking bids.
But even still anything less than 2 firsts or the equivalent is silly.
From a team like KC, I'ma need your first and Kelce haha.
From Oakland, give me two first round picks.
Maybe I take less from an NFC team... but anyone like Indy, TN, Houston, New England, Pitt..... they gotta pay extra.

Not really a surprise at all. The game has passed Coughlin by, but he still tries to run things the way he did 20 years ago.
Lol. The game hasn’t passed him by. There are just more entitled kids playing these days. They need an old disciplinarian to give the a swift kick

.
The team will take a temporary step back and then keep on going. We do not NEED an elite cb. An elite cb is a luxury not a necessity.
If this isn’t a winning season, a management reset is coming regardless of whether the crybaby is on our team.

Did anybody actually think Coughlin wasn't a huge cause in this?
People actually believed it was Caldwell playing hard ball with Ngakoue and wanting to ship out Ramsey? Why would he want to get rid of the two best players hes ever drafted... It's always been Coughlin..
Coughlin is running this Franchise into the ground for the 2nd time.

From what I have read teams interested in him include the Chiefs, Ravens, Vikings, Raiders, Eagles and Seahawks. Of those teams I would probably entertain something from either the Vikings or the Eagles.
Agree, but I am not in the camp of getting mid to late round 1st rounders for Jalen.
That's what you're going to get from pretty much all of those teams... except perhaps the Raiders.
I still think he will be a Raider or 49'er by the end of the weekend.

49ers only want to give up 1 1st.

A 1st and a couple of decent players might do it.
Loved Khans comment on Ramsey

I would think they would want to keep the players they currently have to make a playoff run. They don't have 2 2020 1sts so how about 1 2021 1st rounder.

That may change. They are certainly going to low ball us at first. I would too. Once we play him and they see we are serious about keeping him until we get our asking price, that may change. You never know. I still think the Raiders are odds on favorites. They need to make a splash after the A.B. debacle and have a huge need at CB, but I still believe the Niners are a dark horse candidate. I'm just not buying into the Chiefs stuff. The only way I accept two 1st rounders from them, is if they throw in a good starting player like OG Laurent Duvernay-Tardiff. Their first rounders are likely gonna be in the 30's, so that's like getting second rounders. We need more.
Hey Shad, paying your best players *might* help your team better

The most likely trade partner I've seen is the Eagles, who would give up a 1st, a 3rd and Sidney Jones. Jones has played very well this season and seems recovered from his injury. Many thought he was the top cornerback in his draft class until he got hurt prior to draft day. Is this enough to receive for the best cornerback in the NFL? Let's face it: if Ramsay behaves himself with his new team they will be getting a bargain even if they had to part with 2 1st rounders. I think he'll behave fine until things don't go his way and then his new team will regret having made the deal. As far as trade value, I would like to see them get more than the package which is rumored. Throw in Goeddert and I'd be thrilled. I'd even take Goeddert, Jones and next year's 1st, but I have a hunch the Eagles won't part with Goeddert. The other advantage with the Eagles is that he'd be out of the conference.

Maybe people will finally realize who runs the show once and for all. Caldwell is a well paid coffee fetcher. But this is Coughlin’s ship and we’ll either sink or swim by him.

The right thing is paying your employees deservingly. Jalen just being used and abused by the company he works for.
Lol

That’s some use and abuse the poor little [BLEEP] baby

is being subjected to. Be forced to play for millions of dollars

A 1st, a 3rd and a good corner would be a good deal in my opinion. I'm taking your word that Sidney Jones is a good corner.
