There is only one thing he can say that will allow him to be considered in the long term future of this team. That is that he did not actually request a trade. Short of that he will probably have to go.

The locker room bit tells you all you need to know on how Ramsey is viewed around the league. But of course there will be a team(s) who think they have the answer.
Ding, ding, ding. Half the league knows Ramsey is toxic and not worth the hassle. And after people saw what happened with Antonio Brown, no one is going to take that chance again.
Oh come on, just about any of the teams in the league would take Ramsey. He's not even close to the basketcase that Brown is, and Brown was specifically doing what he did just to create a smoke screen to be released which he got!

Look at the wording of that. Not interested "now that he wants a trade". Locker room is "too good right now." The Chiefs still want him, they just want to drive down the price because the Jaguars bartering position has fallen dramatically now that Ramsey has said he wants out.
How so? The Jags hold all the cards here. They don’t have to trade him and he’s under contract thru next year. And that’s not even factoring the use of the franchise tag if they decide to prolog it a bit more and get the best deal possible.
Has Ramsey called out the coach publicly? The team? Has he bad mouthed other players on his team? Have players in the locker room spoken negatively about Jalen? No?
So how can we call him toxic or a cancer (really hate this term anyway)?
Keep posting Tweets of random nobodies. A blind squirrel finds a nut at some point.

Everyone keeps making the argument that it's been building for soooo long -and it probably has. Well, he should have done this when free agency began in the 2019 offseason.
That would be the more professional method. This method, while becoming more common has long been viewed as the "diva" approach.
I lean more on the side of player empowerment. It's a brutal sport and careers are damaging, if you don't want to play somewhere and have the gravitas to move away from a terrible franchise then by all means leverage yourself to get away.
How many players have wanted to get away from teams who generally handle all their business right? The average human wouldn't stay in a terrible situation if they can avoid it and neither should superstar athletes
Players come and players go. The team remains.

Agree, the AB comparisons are so wide of the mark. Has he threatened to retire because he wants to wear special cleats? Has he left practice as his feet hurt?

He's actually done this several times. You seriously haven't seen this in his pressers?
He's taken jabs at Wash 6 or 7 times since the end of 2017.

Don't forget game in 2017 (can't recall which) he had to be almost restrained from coming back into the game. He was pulled out for obvious reasons as the game was well over and he refused to come out.

Sorry. Head Coach.
We all know he hates the scheme they run. My point is that he is being compared to Brown and being called a cancer in the locker room when that doesn't really seem to be the case. I didn't see anyone really stick up for Brown but I saw players backing up Ramsey on the sideline.

Example uno numero:

But this gets dismissed and is ok because “Wash sucks” and Jalen “Just wants to win”. It’s not ok. What other players publicly criticize their superiors?

Move those goalposts, move those goalposts, move those goalposts, HUH!
Big Leon just said Jalen needs to go on 1010xl.
Hacker- Point made if we trade him .... this FO won't be around to use trade pics.

Numerous people, including Ramsey, have called out Wash. My mistake.

Earl Thomas , Richard Sherman to name just a few HOF caliber DBs who did it in the last few years.
Aaron Rodgers, Brady has had multiple flip outs at McDaniels

Both of those were contract squabbles/revenge for getting cut.
*McCarthy like Marrone didn’t have control over the locker room and would give his players free reign. That led to his firing - hopefully the same fate for Marrone.

Ramsey also has a contract squabble ongoing lol
McCarthy and Rodgers were like that for years. Brady's done it a lot. Big Ben and Todd Haley had beef. There are numerous examples of NFL players having public issues with coordinators.
Searcy eating Jalens [BLEEP]. Exact words "The hell with Ramsey". Buuuwwwwaaaaa!!
Big Leon just said "I don't give a damn what he says at 12:40 .....he's out of here"
"We need a must win in week three"
