Jalen took plays off, lined up late, stared down the coach from the field. Let that damn three yard challenge turn into this. His motives are clear.

Yet he kept Hopkins to what was it 4 receptions 27 yards when he was covering him?

His motives are clear. He's going to play when he's on the field.

Everyone on the team wants to win, but not everyone is asking to be traded.  I won't call him a diva, but this is more than about winning and losing.
Caldwell, " Oh yeah, Jalen demands to be able to pick the staff. Alrighty then, we will send over the papers."
All this drama is making my head spin ....please guys....just play football and WIN!

Take five Crown and Cokes and call me in 30 minutes for further instruction.

Your post just reminded me of the movie The Exorcist

1.  He wants out because of how he's being used?  This makes no sense to me.  As I said in another thread.  There is not 1 team in this league that runs man to man coverage, let alone press man EVERY play.  You are going to play zone no matter what team you are on you are going to play some zone coverage during a game.  Most teams run some version of cover 3, quarters, quarter halves vs Pro/Ace formations, so you are going to play zone. That's just a fact and he knows this.  So to suggest that he's being misused to me is a cover up to whatever the REAL issue is.  Now, can we run more man to man, I suppose, but, SHOULD we given we have Herndon opposite Ramsey and even when Bouye was playing given how he looked, SHOULD we?  Sure it allows Jalen to shine, but does it compromise the remainder of the UNIT?  And that's what the defense is, an UNIT.  Again, a scheme can be tweaked more to highlight his skills, whether it should given the remainder of the personnel is the question.

2.  There is no way one call should make you want to demand a trade.  This is about something else.
3.  Him requesting a trade, to me says he no longer wants to be here.  That means he does not want to be around this staff, but more importantly, to me it says he no longer wants to go to war with Campbell, Jack, Yan so on and so forth.  And to me that's the larger issue.

I would prefer to be a team with Ramsey than without.  But given all of that, if they can find a great deal, ship him out.  It's going to be something else every time.  But the real issue is he just doesn't want to be here, especially after NOT getting the extension when he wanted it.  He's a competitor and he wants to win.  I think every guy in that locker room wants to win, but I don't see them doing what Jalen is doing and I don't see them requesting trades.

Rarely does what is said matter in situations like this. You can learn more about what wasn't said.

He hasn't talked to Moron.
He loves the team, teammates, city, etc.
Never says he loves the coaches, only that he doesn't have anything negative to say.
He never said he outright wants to be traded, he just side stepped it.

Why wouldn't Moron talk to him? A real HC would have talked to him first thing in the morning. No matter what, you would talk to your player and probably do it on Monday or even Sunday night.

I really hope something is happening and Moron is gone and Ramsey and team got the news early.
If they trade him I hope everyone requests a trade off this team. Trading the best defender we have ever had is one of the dumbest things this team will ever do.

I think whatever is going to happen, happens Friday.

And I'm actually leaning on a loss to the tacks and Marrone being fired. Or maybe I'm hoping?
Except, I don't want to lose.

But, I don't see this just going away after a singular win either.

Poz was one of the worst signings in Jaguar history average linebacker.

So force him to play here against his will then?

I think ego and relishing in drama plays a factor here as well.

Not near enough should be 3 1sts better include a 2nd and a starting cb.

Its really starting to look like a power move by Ramsey and agent based on contract negotiations.
The loss and Marrone spat just gave them cover to bring out the trade demand.
The interview was damage control to let everyone know that hes being a good teammate.

How about equal to the Herschel Walker trade where Cowboys got:

[*]Minnesota's 1st round pick in 1990
[*]Minnesota's 2nd round pick in 1990
[*]Minnesota's 6th round pick in 1990
[*]Minnesota's 1st round pick in 1991
[*]Minnesota's 2nd round pick in 1991
[*]Minnesota's 1st round pick in 1992
[*]Minnesota's 2nd round pick in 1992
[*]Minnesota's 3rd round pick in 1992

Poz was solid but the team failed to put any playmakers at the Outside Linebacker position.  Thus Poz had all of the duties of stopping the run and watching TEs and sometimes WRs

Also, your comment contradicts itself because if Poz was average, then he was more than likely one of our better signings since most of the people we signed in the past 10 years really sucked.  Sad, but true
