Natural born citizen 35 yrs of age or older. At least that’s what I remember from school. Her parents could be martians and birthed it here and she’d be eligible.

Oh for pete's sake, yes they can. We have Birthright Citizenship in this Country and that means a baby born in Oakland, California is a natural born citizen and eligible for the Presidency. Now we're gonna have to deal with the birth certificate nonsense from the crackpots for another 3 years.

There are disagreements on what natural born citizen means and whether both parents have to be citizens or not. Generally it is both parents have to be as it meets both sides of the rule if born outside of the US.

I’m gonna be honest and own my stupidity if I’m wrong. I thought it literally meant born in the US. As in both parents could be immigrants and gave birth to a child in the US.

They can, the 14th Amendment is pretty clear about birthright citizenship for those born within the borders. It's established law and has been since the Civil War.
