They believe they got what they wanted until it affects them. Those ridiculing blue collar workers for losing their jobs won't be so bold when they lose theirs or when the cost of living begins to rise.
I hope the left goes all in. Bring it in spades. They'll find out the leftist elites who remain largely unaffected by their own policies don't give a damn about the middle class who they mock, yet hypocritically claim to champion.
