President Biden doesn't concern me as much as a (gasp) potential President Harris. Biden is pretty much going to be an "Obama-lite" as long as the far left wing of the democrat party doesn't have too much influence on him.

I was getting my oil changed during the inauguration ceremony, blissfully away from news channels, and this girl in her 20s walks in with it streaming on her phone. She seemed to be excited about Harris being the first female VP.
As a woman I want to be excited because it is quite an achievement to reach that level, but we all know the only reason she got the position is because she's a minority female. Joe B said as much. In fact, it seems every person he picked (was picked for him) was for their diversity factor. Trump didn't do much better, but to be chosen for your race, sex, gender and sexual orientation and not your qualifications or experience is not okay.
Years ago I was hired for a job but was not interviewed by the section manager, it was through HR. When I reported to work on my first day, that guy took one look at me and said I would not be unloading trucks, I would be doing "women's work" and was passed off to another manager. I was livid. Especially because that's not the first time it happened. My first job at a fast food joint before my senior year of high school went a similar way except I was told I was "too pretty" to work in the back (the position I was hired for) and I should "work my female magic" and get customers to order more than they came for. I was too young both times to realize what was going on but I knew it pissed me off. Any woman who accepts, or worse, welcomes being treated that way has no self awareness of being taken advantage of, or doesn't care, which is jacked up.

That’s exactly where I am at/feel. I’m hoping he sticks around for 4 because of the alternative. I’d be alright if you went in on the bet too. I’ll even pay your share, lol. Even if NYC drinks a six pack of Dom Perignon (sp), I’d pay that to not have Harris as president and Pelosi VP. Plus I can pick your brain on prepping land. The Mrs and I are and have been on the verge of purchasing some. Once we figure out where.

Why didn’t he change the oil himself? Jk. I’ll let him slide. If I was nominated/appointed/ or given a position based off my sex or gender I would personally feel inadequate in that job. Hire me because I’m the right person with the right skill set. Plus, it’s better to live life knowing your good at what you do not because you fit a certain demographic.

Portland should really look into making that a tourist attraction. Have a couple of streets roped off for viewers with refreshment vendors. Riots start every two hours on the dot from noon to midnight six days a week. A premium fee will get you a side street show with fireworks and molotov cocktails. Private showings include a cop getting assaulted with tear gas response.
